The pop in is god awful. Thank goodness RE5 doesn't use it. That engine just makes things look way to shiny. If you would take away the shine it would look like garbage. I admire developers that make there own engines. They call it in house game engine I think. A bunch of developers have done this in there games Such as Naughty dog with Uncharted and Hideo with MGS4. The last good sonic game was Sonic adventure 2 for the dreamcast. Just make a sonic game exactly like Sonic adventure with all the new graphics and what not. Then you will have another good sonic game.
