I thought they died ages ago to be honest. The last time I heard about them they were in tons of debt and that was over a year ago if not longer. Oh well, they had maybe two good games with one of them just being a remake so that doesn't really count.
Getting this day one. Sadly though I have a gut feeling we are going to see some dlc milking with new characters. Its expected though. Oh well, fun game I thought when I played the beta.
I always find it funny when MP games always launch with tons of issues. The only game I think I've ever seen that had a decent launch was Uncharted 3. Thats mostly due to the fact Naughty Dog had like 3 betas for the game. It should be mandatory for games with any MP component to have at least two beta trails.
Nothing is going to change regardless who wins. Time for a revolution and get rid of this two party donkey show.

Going to wait on this console. Maybe pick one up in a year or two. Its not that its a bad console. Its just that theres nothing that interests me and it probably won't until that given time.
Just another feature not needed in video games. These consoles truly are having an identity crisis on their hands. I just want video games.
Likewise, BF3 is all I'm going to be playing for the rest of this gen for my FPS needs. I'm done tossing money on them. They are way too saturated. With Aftermath coming out on Nov 27th my FPS fix will be served.

Thats not true. If you ever fully get to experience a real work environment then you will get to see how many useless employees with so called "seniority" that sit around and do nothing all day every day. These are people who have been working for 10+ years at this job. I see it all the time. Regardless of the job/career its all the same.
"Free Patch" Just by them saying this puts terror into my head on the future of video games. If during next gen I have to pay for patches I'll just stop buying them all together. Hopefully developers/publishers don't go full Jew and actually do it.

With Aftermath for BF3 coming out as early as Nov 27 (for PS3 users with Premium) this game is going to be either a major pass or just a rent for the SP. I'm done investing money/time into FPS games this gen anyways. Especially modern military games.
If people still enjoy these games thats fine with me. I however totally lost interest in the series the second MW2 came out. I haven't played a COD game in about 3+ years now.
COD games are very easy to make since they generally are just rehashed. You don't need a strong developer to develop them. The formula always stays the same.

RE6 is getting a rent from me. I already knew it wasn't going to be very good. Its a pure action shooter and nothing more. It barely resembles RE in any way shape or form. Still worth renting though.
No it couldn't. 40 million is what most consoles achieve throughout half their lifetime. The hype for this thing is beyond sour. I know many people who didn't even know its coming out this Sunday which is extremely strange. Whats really weird is the little to no advertisements when the console is 6 days away.
