My friends & I have been watching this play out since the rumors started popping up last week, and we all agreed that Microsoft would be dealing with a huge amount of lawsuits if they tried doing anything that would endanger those of us who play Minecraft in the Playstation environs.

I'm not so much worried about Microsoft attempting to remove the Playstation ports, but rather the amount of skin/texture packs (which are depressingly few despite Sony's large catalogue of available franchises to choose from) that would come to PS3/4 after the acquisition.
+1 fan here - I've recently been watching the anime adaptation to the games, and it rekindled my want for them (only played episodes 1 & 2).
PS - include the anime as part of a collector's edition Harada, that's how you get the bigger fanbase.
What I'm looking for before dishing out the money is a statement from Sony about whether or not attaching this to the PS4 voids the warranty.
One of the biggest difference between the Xbox & Playstation consoles has been that Microsoft has relied on power bricks whereas Sony has everything in the unit itself. I see this being a big part of what may have led to that situation.
No, you get a corss-buy for Vita if you get the PS3 version I believe, but you have to pay an upgrade fee if you get/have already gotten it for PS3 & wanna play on the PS4.
First - the tweet that PSFrance sent out was deleted earlier today, and other, more rliable sources have since stated that not everything is ironed out completely.
Second - chances are, if Sony wants to not be left behind by Microsoft, MCPS4 will go live either 9/4 or 9/5; but it's unfortunately more likely that it won't be available until Tuesday as Sony doesn't like putting up new content between Tuesdays when at all possible.

While there's been no final/offocial word from Sony HQ, Playstation-France tweeted a few hours ago that apparently MC:PS4 is hitting the store 9/3 in response to the glitched store page that showed the game as being available for purchase on 9/2.

It's actually a 2-pronged jab at Microsoft as well - not just for the "Kinekt" reference but also at MS' policy against habitual swearing in voice-chats during online play sessions.
What's funny is that I uploaded a clip of this same easter egg Sunday night after having recorded it on my PS4 & trimmed it down in the SHAREfactory app.
It's not so much "if" but "when" Microsoft does it wrong really.
MS is going to overreach with trying to recuperate that $2.5bil as fast as possible that's only going to end up blowing up in their faces as it alienates the loyal player base.
And it's all going to be with how they start shafting the players who are esclusively in the Sony ecosystem, and the ripples will only go out from there.
