you cant compare it to ALL of the PS3 launch titles. 720p shown at 1080p is NOT true 1080p. Its 720p shown at 1080p. There is NO patch that MS can that can alter since the textures are burnt and close on to the disc
When it comes to 720p and 1080p in games. there is a difference. Video games arent movies being that games are real time and movies dont go any higher than 60 frames per second. so Movies= constant unchanging frame rate. Games= constantly changin frame rate(saints row)

there is no way in hell you can connect a HDMI cables directly to you AV. HDMI is Digital, AV is Analog. there needs to be a analog to digital conversion somewhere. ms will either make a new SKU priced the as the original or two different adsptors. one with HDMI cable integrated and one with just an output. either way that will be a sh!t of money out the pocket for something that should have been in the console in the first place
tha in addition to the cell, that the PS3 would have the an emotion (maybe up dated ver) in corporated into the system and backwards compatibility would be done threw EMULATION. which is a software problem i believe "somebody" will provide patches for the games that do not on the PS3. most likely it will be a homebrew dev but thats better than not have compatibility at all......

No...I have to correct you again. The xbox 360 sold 5 million units worldwide by the end of June. Secondly, the didn't win by default. putting a game on more 3-4 is really not smart. in cost it would $4-$5 in materials plus it would multiply production time. 2 dvd's twice the time to make a complete game. time is money and that would sooner be coming out of your pocket than the dev's
putting the game data in whole could solve this. and when it come to a point where the game would need to seek previous data. i believe that the dev's for the PS3 just had put multiples of the same data on the disc. hence the 22GB on Resistance.
