I care about PS3 sales as I want the PS3 as the lead platform for multi-platform developers. The PS3 offers more variety, better graphics and bigger games and if you say you’re a gamer you will support this, downgrade them for the 360 or put the games on multiple disks like FF13.
For a machine that costs twice the amount of its competition and has been out a year less these figures are fantastic, I think why they are predicting 13million for sales this year is because they no longer have any real competition from the 360 in terms of games and multi platform developers are working harder on the PS3 version now because they are able to get more out of the PS3. I have to say I am not a 360 fan in anyway but this could be interesting only if they can implement it into game you want to play for prolonged length of time, I have played the wii alot but found as soon as its just on your own and want to play a game the wii has nothing to offer me. Lets hope that microsoft wont just jump on the faddy band waggon and are able create a game that has lasting appeal.

you only need to look at where these things sell if you take the U.S. out of the equation you see that the PS3 has sold more units world wide then the 360 even though the release date of the PS3 was a year later (18 months in Europe) 360 13.35 million, PS3 13.63 million. so you see the only place the 360 sells well is the U.S. and where do all the negative articles come from, the U.S. so all these figures show is that who listens and eats the BS articles that only exist to damage sales.
