I did as a matter of fact. And while the article offers up some facts, it still does a lot of speculation and attempts to generalize a public world view towards smart phones, which is counterintuitive to what's typically perceived.
The reason the iPhone is so popular is precisely what the article argues is going to be the reason it fails, which is grasping for straws to say the least. This article is sensationalism masked in research.
If by fail the article really means, sell a few million more units, then yes it will fail.
Seriously, these articles shouldn't get approved in the first place. They are meant to be negative to stir nonsense fanboy flame waring and drive up cheap hits to their websites.
Your paradoxical words make my head implode.

This x 1000
Comparing beer/wine afficandos with gamers is a bit much, really. Apples and Oranges IMO. The gaming industry couldn't be more friendly to hardcore/casuals alike. Just because of a few hundred trolls and nerd rages scream really loud, you're ready to write off the whole community as being snoobs? Palllllllllllleaaaaaaaaaaaase.
So I wonder how many people will be "sick" tomorrow? haha
Word on the street is that it's Phychonaut Legends..

Sup, I heard you like controlling virtual people so I put a virtual person inside your virtual person so you can control while controlling.
An interesting tid-bit, that movie was written by Gary Whitta, former Editor in Chief of PC Gamer Magazine. Perhaps he was influenced by the Fallout setting when he wrote the movie.
Just a thought =)
Hooray, the PC master race rejoice!
