as much as I like and continue to play the game, I only bought the first pac and will not buy another till I see a bundle of them or the price comes down...
Who does this dude work for ? Square or MS ?
hope this is true...was a must buy for me until I played the demo (terrible camera, repetitive gameplay and the crippling of the online CoOP with only 2 wth its 2008) ....clearly the demo is not what they are playing now....
maybe there is still hope
success...how about backing up a truck load of money and buying success....
Square is doing the right thang...get $$$ to put it on the 360 and than reap rewards for the market share on it..
The only disbelievers are those who didnt buy a PS3.
Many are dinning on crow now, but also so many doubters are now multiconsole owners
So much enjoyed this game and will play through it with the PS3 vesion.
All the vocal doubters of BlueRay + games should finally realize Sony knew what they were doing...MGS, sound effects best in a vid game and here we see another developer touting BlueRays muscle....Compression is not the answer
its shameful to use the wannabe rockstar Cliff B, and the righteous Ted Price names in the same sentence. TP comes off as a highly education and intelligent person, whereas Cliff B. is 100% jerk
desperation to sell something, which noone wants to buy
gonna pre-order Socy and R2 tonight !!!
(frig buying that online rag for R2 beta)
I guess this is a new revelation to MS..cause it certainly was not planned for with a gimped 20G drive in the launch 360, it could not hold up to real downloadable games.. and dont forget their other fiasco with their DRM..
piracy....sorry...its the cost of hardware to stay current is the issue....and with comments like piracy is the problem....you get what you sow...and I guess Blizzard didnt get the memo on piracy
defending to pay for a service, especially since PC, PS3 and Wii are free....I just dont get it...
I have been having seizures, just waiting for this game
GE, JFG and TS are still N64 games we play at home....
N64 with cartridges was built to stand the tests of time
DMC, FF......old exclusives which Sony publically stated they will not back up a truck of $$ to retain....They are more focused on NEW exclusives, leaving the oldies for MS to back up the moving truck full of bucks for....Its just business which is good on BOTH parts. MS clearly is desparate for the established titles and Sony is more focused on NEW IP, than spending $$ to retain some stellar franchises.
AND we dont know all from Square yet
I wonder if this HS is the one we saw with the PS emblem on it ?
Any linkies ?
PS3 will follow the PS2 in terms of lifespan and technological improvements over time and you wont realize the performance of the machine for quite a few years into its lifespan....Just as the PS2, it takes EFFORT to code for it and for that you will get stellar games ~ 6 years into the life cycle of the console (ie: GOW on the PS2)..unlike the xbox, which had plenty of life, but MS discarded it for a new gimped box (please dont even try and deny this) in terms of market share. For the later ...
my fav. genre and one of the most games I have been looking forward to...the demo was pretty bad even though I did like the controls....graphics were meh, gameplay was kind of boarish/repetitive..
my big problem was the downgrade to online play of only 2, killed the online play for me...and I have been reading the game ~ 12 hrs long (?)...for now rental at best, but I am hoping for some new news which would entice me to buy
Been a gold member from Live Day One...and just as most of my friends have done...no more Live autorenewal...no more paying for Gold...
MS is just hoping the new ones joining will off set those leaving..
MS is aiming more toward casual gamers, but they will find out, if the more hardcore gamers wont pay for live....the casuals wont either.
At least us gamers can get a short term card to check out GOW2
up to now the biggest thang 360 had were its development tools (and thats important so developers have it easier to code and push games out faster).
Now games are getting bigger..
360 developers are forced to use crappy compression techniques (just to keep games on one disk), which ultimately yield inferior audio fidelity and graphics (ask any developer)and they dont wanna incur the additional expense of multidisk games for the 360 (MS pulling the old Big N cartr...
