It actually certainly doesn't because the PS4 is better than the XBO in every way aside from this so lol, it doesn't. You can dip a turd in s*** but it doesn't make it good, one positive trait is not redeeming. It's faster but the UI is better in every way.

They're only acceptable in free-to-play games, and even then there should be an option to buy the game outright so you won't be screwed by bad game design and nickel and dimed constantly waiting for bars to fill and s***.

Sony's few big 1st Party games stomp the collective releases of all of Microsoft's, so yeah, couple that with the best 3rd Party support and indie support plus Vita functionality and there's not really a contest LOL.
Hopefully they do keep up their streak but NX is going to potentially shake things up IF the rumors are true.
It's my second favorite behind FFX. Great game.
Don't forget 4! Along with it, those are the best for sure (not counting spinoffs like Tactics, which is actually one of the best).

I doubt we will ever get another true Final Fantasy game because of these casuals who are flooding the series (thanks to Square, really) and longtime fans who sit back and swallow whatever Square shoots in their face..."realism." God.

This is what's wrong with Square; they are out of touch. This shouldn't be a question, Moogles, Chocobo, and staple Summons and such are all integral parts of the Final Fantasy formula which have been in most games in some form or another, even non-Final Fantasy Square titles.
They're shooting for pseudo-realism and an Action based combat which has damned this game to oblivion as a mainline Final Fantasy. It should have stayed a spinoff.
They're sexualized games but they're good. Monster Monpiece, for example, is an underrated gem.
