1.)They use the points system to cut down on the fees they get charged by the credit card companies every time a credit card purchase is made.
2.)The reason they don't make the points match the price is because it's a lot easier for people to part with points than money. If $10 was 1000 points, it would still look like 10 dollars. 800 points looks like less, therefore, easier to spend.
3.)They purposely sell them in awkward amounts so you will have points left over. ...

Also, if someone makes a RealD 3D(used in Avatar)TV, I don't see the glasses being an issue, since they're so cheap to produce. If I can have that in my living room, I'm down for it.

Car Windshields were the first thing to come to mind when I saw this. How great would it be to have an active display on your windshield, sticking a big arrow over your destination. Or highlighting the road and other cars actively at nighttime. The future is much closer than I thought it would be.
My launch Xbox 360 put out ungodly amounts of heat. The Jasper I own now, not so much. Especially if the game is installed. The disk drive spinning constantly adds quite a bit of heat (and massive amounts of noise). I install every game I play now, even if it's just for a few days. Mostly for the peace and quiet. If someone want to make a joke about the 360, it's definitely the drive noise. Especially if you get a particularly unbalanced game disc. Like MW2, since they pressed so many copies ...
They tried to please everybody and in the process jacked up the flow of the game. Dual wielding to pull in the Halo players. 3rd person to pull in the Gears fans. Neither belong in COD. To top it off they added a "thermal" scope that works better on Wasteland than it does on Derail(a snow map). It's basically a "turn people that aren't using cold blooded bright white" scope. Weak. Dual shotguns had fail written all over it from the get-go.
I really liked the Wind Waker's style. I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea but it seemed to fit the game very well. I don't really think it will matter what art style they choose, though. After playing in HD on my 360/PS3, the visuals of all Wii games disappoint. It's a shame.
Unbelievable. This game gets more annoying by the day. I've gone back to playing WaW. Do you understand how broken your game is IW? Did you just hear what I said? I'm playing WaW again because it's the better option.

Alan Wake is gonna be an awesome game. I like that Remedy makes games that have a double entendre for a name. Max Payne for a bloody action game and A.Wake for a thriller with "Dark Forces" that appear at night. This game will probably be the closest a game has ever come to feeling like a scary movie. Much like Uncharted feels like an action film. Good days to be gamer :)

The PS3 case matches the colors better, BUT the Xbox 360 cover has more leg showing. Kind of a give and take there, lol.
Yes, it could get you banned. There's no need for you to do it though. If you get banned it won't garner the same kind of attention because nobody feels badly for straight people who can't follow rules.

It's STILL going to sell double the amount on the Xbox 360 outside of Japan. Fact of the matter is that Sony lost Final Fantasy as an exclusive. This SHOULD have been a system seller. Instead, it's just another cross platform game that won't entice people into buying a PS3 if they haven't already. So, toot your Sony fanboy horns as loudly as you like.
