If they make good original IP's they will sell and Microsoft will bring in more just like them. It's all in their court to produce good games.
I don't think it's the compression, it's just the fact that it's a "cam" version.
Even with the reduced price though they're still losing money, they need to be closer to even before they try to lower the console price IMO.

Really to make PDZ a good game there really would not need to be a lot of tweaks. Probably one of the first things would be a jump move.

Every game designer has the capacity to make Halo they just lack the talent and skill.
Deep I really don't feel price is the only thing keeping the PS3 on the shelves, the game line up is still weak just like any freshman console.
But they are still losing money on every console sold so why would they cut the price.
No matter how you cut it Sony is losing from last gen, They led the way the entire generation but there is no way they can repeat that and thusly are doing worst.

Here i thought we were done with these silly debates after we beat them into the ground about 5 times in the last 2 weeks.
Hopefully IGN is wrong about the date but the detailed list of features is still new.
