I wonderer if we effectively are playing sales? Money earnt by Sony on games and hardware goes back in to the production of more I guess.
I'm gutted the new xbox didn't blow me away. I truly wanted one. Now I'll end this gen without one for the first time potentially and that's a real shame. They're a mess.
I'd also say that power does not equate a quality experience either. I've played my 3Ds way more than my Vita and recently my Switch way more ...

You're right about Sony. It was subdued and they were kind of blasé about everything. I'm not sure about MS though I'm afraid. It's a shame as I wanted them to blow me away this year. A hardware reveal must absolutely do that and they dropped the ball. I'm still left with no XB this gen.

You're right. The XboxoneX with a game will cost you the same as a PS4 and a Switch combined I think. Throw in the potential of a price cut for PS4 slim and it could be cheaper 👍😁
The presentation was a boring and embarrassing mess. My excitement for the new hardware was killed by a complete lack of quality software exclusives that make use of the capabilities. I'm still left with a gap in the gens consoles. I just can't validate spending that kind of money on better resolution alone and back compat. I've my 360 for the old games. This was their chance to blow minds and they failed bad. Such a shame. Our way better for the industry to have much closer compe...
