Bad feeling the ps3 version will be a ghost town once the majority of console gamers get their trophies and race to the next game, like they always do.
Hopefully SOE develop the pc version into a real pc mmo, not the console port it currently is. So much potential.
ya I played both betas, loved it but thought I saw all the content really. There isn't much. But I miss the community and pvp aspect. Tried the RIFT beta and it's nothing more than Warhammer engine modded, same ole shit. I think I'll pick up DC. It's fresh.
No, betas always wipe. People need to understand the difference between a beta, demo and early start.
Problem with these pay to play betas is none of you gave a shit about testing, you just wanted to demo it,hence wanting to keep your characters.

I cancelled my pre-order. Having played both betas, I've seen it all.
Some of the testers on the private 30 lvl servers disclosed what we haven't seen, and there isn't much. A few more instances then the same ones with difficulty scaled up.

I think it works the way it is. Having to many skills turns the game into a mindless spamfest of who runs out of mana 1st ( see wow).
Right now the combat is perfect, with all the block breakers, stuns, super stuns, ect the game has alot of strategy, people just need to understand how it all works. Right now they are coming into this game with the warcraft mentality, you got to let that go.

We will see. This game does need PVE content. Without the PVP I would be bored to death. PVP combat is where this game shines. All you carebears on the PVE sever come over to the PVP, you'll learn a thing or two.
Because entitled gamers don't care about the beta, they just want demo the game. Some even crying to keep their beta toon. They have no clue.
That is really soon. Last nights patch on the PC did wonders for the game. I pray we've only seen a fraction of the connect or this games going down the same path as Global Agenda.
Here's a good reason. You sell those codes and items and you pay off your game. I did that for REACH and COD:BO.
I did for two days then I started seeing what this game was coming down to, god of war button spam. I haven't found a reason to even group up with anyone. It feels like a single player game thrown online so you can have the occasional gank.
It does have something, the entire game was made around the dual-shock. They got that part right.

I wont be buying it. Right now the content is lacking. Every fight is exactly the same. All the pvp is exactly the same.. a gank of button mashing. Being on the same engine as Global Agenda, it's suffering the same issues.
When the free keys went out Friday, 1.5k ps3 were still available and the pc keys were gone. There's a hint that this game will be a ghost town on the console for sure.
Maybe if things were slowed down fights would be more strategic...
