I doubt these excuses. At this point the game engine models and graphics are done. Only thing that will be different are adjustments to code, weapon tweak ect.. They've already tested in house how far they can push the graphics on the consoles. It wont change. In fact, EVERYGAME there are fanbois that use this counter excuse and the final build ALWAYS looks the same.
Console have hardware limitations, just the nature of the beast.

Didn't the dev state the xbox will be dumbed down with lower re textures ect.. like BF3.
PC version is nothing but BC2.5 . just another console port.
Don't believe me , look at the console squad system still left in. Built for the pc , ya right same ole engine. Just like Madden annual release, now we have BC/BF, whatever you want to call it.
All these new players need to drop the cod mode and play classic. Then they can experience the new maps and some near classic Socom play.

Its a fun game. Got my ps3 dualshock working on the pc version and it ran flawless. It suffered from redundant content, iffy pvp mechanics. Hopefully most of it is fixed.
