trophies are another thing sony shouldnt have started. wow theres like 2 games with trophy support. and btw how many ps3 games support custom soundtracks? another "feature" that is lost in the "sands of catch up time" dont take me wrong i like sony and psn atleast it is free, but you fanboys in here really dont wanna go down the trophy support road. go back to playin uncharted so you can receive a trophy. lol the fanboys spammin this thread.

i dont think sony needs to drop the price, but come out with another killer bundle. they would come out better to bundle a ps3 game that is on their greatest hits collection than to cut off 50 more bucks- plus it would sell better during the holidays.

usualy what MS will do is charge for them for a "limited" time and then make the content free. i believe they did this with gears, i think epic wanted make the new maps free, but MS wanted to charge for them. so they compromised and did a limited time deal after the time period they went to free.

you said on the lines ill wait for this sku. i wanna buy another ps3 i had a 40 gig a while back, and the 80 was what i wanted, now i dunno. this gives the ps2 only owners a reason to wait if they wanna upgrade to ps3. shoot they keep puttin off the upgrade, a better sku is released- bigger HD and a better value. i just dont get MS or sony's strategy with there "multiple skus" approach, hopefully this new "concept" dies when this gen of gaming does.
lets see soon they will discontinue the newer 80 gig ps3 like they done the 40 gig, and then claim they are doing it cause the 160 gig is in higher demand. well the 160 gig is a lot better deal so sony is just goin in the same circle over and over...like ive posted before i hope next gen consoles have 1 sku, MS and sony this gen doesnt seem on what they wanna do. 1 version of the 720 1 version of the ps4.
