i guess ps3 games are over priced too since all are 60 us dollars at launch.(or at the same price at launch everywhere )no excuse for modding or piracy PERIOD. im glad micro atleast tries to keep the players that play fairly protected from the scum that want to cheat. there again maybe this is another reason why live is the premiere online service!! time to check my live list from my pc and go play the left for dead demo!!!

for one ya off topic this isnt about which is free and which one isnt (live or psn) with that said the reason why live users are getting this whole new experience is because yes we do pay for it. im just hoping microsoft is ready for this on the 19th because i dont want any problems. other than that im excited and ready for it- bring it on micro!!

sony could do a 50 dollar price cut and it would not "cripple them". id say there would be a 99% chance it wouldnt hurt sony at all. price to most consumers is psycoligical and if they advertised ps3 for 349.99 it would sell even more than now, thus boosting sony's sales in blu-ray movies, games and accesories(cause more ps3's in the market). the real argument is do they NEED A PRICE CUT and with it selling this well one could argue NO!! seems some in here think sony is on the brink...
