I don't hate Killzone 3, I just feel some of the changes are a slap in the face. Guerilla Games changed (actually noobified) most of the stuff I loved about Killzone 2.
They pissed off fans for crybabies that probably have not and will not play Killzone 3. The reason everyone thinks that everybody thinks Killzone 2's controls suck is because the haters are vocal and the supporters are not because the supporters are enjoying the game.

Some of the older games are more difficult because the technology at the time caused the game to be more difficult than it should have been.
But games for the most part these days are way too easy.
