Sony are referring to the NEW/ NEXT GENERATION HDMI 2.1 standard, which ups the TMDS of HDMI 2.xx from 18Gbs [6Gbs over 3x channels] to 12Gbs over 4 channels, which will require a new 48G lead released later in the year... However using EXISTING HDMI 2.0x leads, the 8K pallette [Wide Colour] is brought to UHD/ 1080p using a 2x2 checkerboard matrix whith 4Ks HDR relegated to Brightness / Contrast/ "nits" as defined by the NEW NEXT GENERATION UHD Premium standard.

PS5 will use a modified Vulkan in addition to the current PS4 API to maintain backward compatibility.

Um there is no PS 5. The PS 4 Pro is using Polaris and newer APUs which have HEVC/h.265 CODEC built onto silicon awa HDMI 2 output with HDCP 2.2 Compliance

There are 2 native standards smarty pants, 4096x2160 is the standard for film production and 3840x2160 is the standard for TV's and monitors. 3840x2160 is exactly 4x 1080p whereas 4096x2016 is 4.27. And you bringing up native resolution when he never stated exact pixel numbers is null.

In Smart chips Sony already is a founder in development pool for the Android OS , in the smart chip market the main Operating systems are iOS & AndroidOS Microsoft's not really on an OS level for Smart chips even really having any real Presence... As a matter of fact they are just now making a version of Windows 10 for ARM processors but it's going to be a while.

Actually they are better than photorealistic. HDR cameras in the real world only require 10bits per Red + Green + Blue subpixel/ memory address, a total of 30 bit, thats the low end of Sonys xvYCC colourspace which they proposed in 2005 for the next gen pallette and was adopted in the HD...
