All CODs sell well. If this was worse than Ghosts then I think COD's big sales glory days would have been numbered.
Unrelated to headline but in the article I see:
Planned Update fixes:
"Adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement."
How an entire development team and whoever tested this game could not see a problem with massive blocks of text in the middle of the screen is beyond me. Where is the option to turn off chat completely? I know I can mute it in the PS4 sound options but I still see the logs. "Mute All" on eve...
Clickbait article on amateur blog. Clearly the most traffic this site has ever seen because of how slow the site is running. Don't waste your time.
Is there any way to filter out these "doom and gloom" articles from N4G? I come here for discussion about the enjoyment of games, not the impending decline of everything.
@IcicleTrepan Oh yeah! I meant the other way round though - like Lego Batman etc.
Minecraft Halo Edition
Lego Minecraft
Minecraft Star Wars
OneDirectionCraft
Half Life 3 rumoured!
...again.
Wow, you have 5 disagrees for stating a fact about your experience. Who does that? I have had no lag either.
It's still COD, so if you're a COD hater then don't expect to be swayed completely back. As an occasionally infuriated by the series semi-fan of COD, I can say after a few hours of play that it doesn't have that same feeling of constant injustice that MW3 and Ghosts left me with and the new abilities seem to work to the advantage of the real players rather than aid the spammers and dickheads. I've got to say I'm having fun with it. It's a bit BlackOps2, a bit Titan...
The title is just about the opposite of what I saw. Colbert seemed like he was on her side. People need to realise that most of the time he isn't serious. There was no exposing of anything in this video.
Is this going to download itself and not let me delete it like it did on the PS3?
That video seems like a parody:
"The VWW (virtual world web) is designed to replace the current 2d version of the internet"
Yeah, good luck with that.
Exactly. This is to games what hardcore horror is to movies, what death metal and grindcore is to music. It is an extreme. When I am playing GTA sometimes I purposely run over loads of people for fun. Sometimes I just forget the missions and run over and shoot innocent people. How is this any different?
I don't get why everyone is getting so uptight about this. In Grand Theft Auto you kill people for money and status. In Battlefield and Call Of Duty you kill people because your government tells you they are evil. In this you kill people because you are sick of the world. None of these are worthy motives really.
Even if it all worked fine, it still isn't very fun to play. I hope people aren't thinking servers and technical issues are the sole reason this got bad reviews.
Hey Crytek! Why don't you take the concept and make a better game? then I might give 1 quarter of a crap about it coming to PS4.
No one's touched on Dinosaurs?..... except
Turok series/ Primal Rage/ Primal Carnage/ Dino Crisis series/ Dino D-Day / Monster Hunter / and all the Jurassic Park games going right back to the NES and SNES.
Open each image in a different tab and switch between them, if you can't tell the difference then your eyes aren't working properly.
There was me thinking gameplay and fun were the key ingredients of great games.
@NukaCola
£399 = $625.21
I wouldn't call that nearly $800
