Um...what?? I mean it's no Daggerfall but "never had very big maps"?????
You must be one of those overly critical people that say the new [insert album, game, movie here] sucks because it's different from the previous one(s). Maybe you see attractive people and rate them 4/10 because they have a tooth out of place or their eyebrows aren't symmetrical.
"Well that's just, like, your opinion man."
I believe he/she is referring to the horrible NES game.
Why would this be released next year?
1. It hasn't been officially announced
2. We don't even have an official name
3. Dev kits just got sent out to 3rd parties
It would be commercial failure to release a system with little to no information whatsoever. There are more consumers than just hardcore fanboys. Just imagine, "Introducing the new Nintendo console! It does all these things! Also it's hitting stores in a couple months,...
This is irrelevant but why do shooters still have a sprint button? Just make the character walk faster. I hate having to click the stick constantly. It's almost always completely unnecessary. For example in Borderlands there is NEVER a reason to walk, yet every time I stop I have to click to move again. You know some games that don't force you to crawl without another button input? Doom, Half-Life, Halo, Goldeneye, Quake, etc.
A walk button makes more sense than a sp...
In no particular order:
When it comes to identities I like Vivi, Basch, Freya, Kain, and Celes
When it comes to combat I like Amarant, Barrett, Edgar, Squall, and Zidane aka the world's hardest hitting thief.
And who can forget Gilgamesh? He's like the Deadpool of the Final Fantasy universe
I would rather beat all the Megaman games than beat the story mode in F-Zero GX again. That is by far the most difficult gaming experience I have experienced. That final race was absolutely unreal. And it was like salt in the wound when Nintendo Power readers voted that beating Metal Ridley in Prime was harder. Freaking kidding me??
Charisma is almost pointless. I always set mine to 1 and just tag Speech and Barter. And a high Barter in NV will get you ton of caps
Gordon should have never gone to work that day long ago
I really hope so. After playing the Borderlands collection it felt like a completely different experience just because of the frame rate
"waste of development"
Yeah, because other gamers (and their money) don't matter to developers and publishers. Only PC gamers matter >_>
I'll defend to the death that PC is superior but shrink that head, mate
For me, Nintendo is like an ex I used spend a lot of time with but things changed and we went our separate ways. I wonder how Link and Mario are doing? Maybe one day she'll walk through the door with a nice make over. Until then she's still doing the "creative thing" that I'm just not in to.
My favorite part of Mass Effect wasn't the characters, combat, or story. The music and the lore is what sucked me in
Graphics aren't everything, yo
I remember watching a friend playing Final Fantasy 9 when it was new and just being so amazed that video games were capable of such vivid story telling. It was the first RPG I ever experienced (with the exception of Pokemon). I bought a PlayStation just to play this game. To this day RPGs are my favorite genre.
Still have that same copy of FF9. The only game I never traded.
I'm so glad I bought Diablo 3 last week... >_>
Banjo 3 T_T
At least Ukulele is coming out. Not the same, but should be fun.
Hironobu Sakaguchi's masterpiece. This is my number 2 favorite game of all time. When I heard that FF7 was getting remade all I could think was...finally, there's a chance.
FO3 and New Vegas at 60 fps? Yes please
I've always been fond of the slim PS1
