Sorry guys, but it's only 2kk mod downloads, not a CK. But anyway it's 2kk in a week. And at least mods will make dumb pirates buy the game.))
Still at's not exactly honest to compare multiplatform and exclusives, especially when that multiplatform is second best sold game in 2011. :-P
And still totally well desirved!
Realy?! A great news!
50 mods in skyrim?! Holy... O_o
Too bad nexus will loose many users. Steam is quite handy with all those auto-updates and CK integration. And looks like there's some control for mods quality.
Strange thing is that I've never seen people demand anything from other RPGs, which have linear 30 hours gameplay, and want all the simulation of fantasy world from TES. I guess it's another reason why Skyrim got more then 50 GOTY titles already.
And that reason "Skyrim isn't GOTY 'cause I don't know where to go and I can't fight on horsie".. )))
Expedition to Atmora would be a good decision.
I only hope that there will be as many DLCs as it was in Fallout3 and FNV, but with more hours to play.
It's only a few locations.((
Sky Haven monastery is my absolute fav. And river valley south of it.
Beauty and atmosphere is not about texture size. ;)
Atmora must be in DLC! Frozen continent, birthplace of humanity and Talos. Should be somewhere in the north. Definitely deserves an expedition.
TES VI - Elsweyr i guess.
If this guy tells a story of WW2, it'll be a "they wanted to kill Hitler but guy shot himself". It's just a tiny scratch of a real Elder Scrolls story.
I like the story of Bioware, about few true fans of AD&D who tried themselves in a game industry and made a wonderful Baldur's Gate and Shadows Of Amn, which are absolute classics!
And I don't see them in modern Bioware products. ME and DAO were really good, but they were a bit commercial. And ME2 and DA2 look totally soulless to me.
And Bethesda still looks like they are a true fanboys of their own products, which they make for themselves mostly....
Can anybody even imagine Skyrim with Dark Souls combat?)) 3rd person only, unbeatable block, dodging, attaching to enemy..
What a stupid idea.
Why don't we let character jump on mobs head to kill it, like in SuperMario. If we making arcade already.
Success of Skyrim really surprising! It'a great game, but 8kk already? I guess next few years all devs will get themselves their own tiny little open-world universe.)))
But still looks like it's more profitable to make a shooters for 5 hours walkthrough.(((
Have you even played a game or just saw a few videos?)
Almost done with Thieves Guild on my PC. Are you sure that it's a bug? Maybe you just missed something?
And I've played more then 160h with no glitches excerpt twins in front of Whiterun stables. Not bothers me absolutely.
Parries yes, and maybe a bit slower I think. But it doesn't mean a step towards DS or Witcher. Bethesda just need to spend more time developing their own system. It's most realistic of all and don't give player any advantages like things npcs can't do.
Author never played TES games before Skyrim I guess.
5. Running (swimming) to the wall again.
4. Obvious. More weapons and armour. Hard to resist.
3. Mommy, I wanna fly a dragooooon!!! Dragons are impossible to be mounted in TES. They are not just wild bests waiting for a saddle.
2. Death to game balance.
1. Balance again, and you can have 2 companions in Skyrim sometimes.
Do Skyrim needs all those lock-on-target, dodgings and almost invulnerable block? Those elements are totally arcade! Leave 'em in DS please.
And how will you fight a big battles with all this? With 20-30 men on a field from both sides.
Well desirved. My GOTY absolutely!
When games are growing smaller year after year, and turn into tiny interactive movies, even RPGs! No lore, no freedom, only run and smash and watch cutscenes. Skyrim done the opposite and just have no real contenders.
And more then 100 hours in Skyrim and only a few minor bugs.
Only 300.000 sold? They shouldn't have messed with Skyrim and Dark Souls. :)
Seriously, game looks solid, a bit WoW style but solid. But with all that EA advertisement, with all those "we're better with this and better with that".. pfffff..
