The gameplay is rater linear but wasn't MW2 that doesn't stop it from being a good game. The AI is very poor but that's probably the worst thing, Every mission they throw something different at you.
I mean Black Ops comparing to MW2 has a better story and its longer, Zombies + Dead Ops Arcade instead of Spec Ops and probably a better MP with more features and more maps and gets a 8.5
Yet comparing MW1 to MW2, adding a worse SP, crapp...
Imo it deserves at least a 9. This is coming from someone who was trolling MW2 a year ago.
The SP is amazing and the online is tight.

Game is in shambles, I love it, I still play it since its so much fun, level 4 prestige, but fucking seriously, the matching, P2P, unbalanced teams, lag.
Atrocious.
Dedicated servers fixes this all.
