Rather vague statement, at least there is a possibility and by saying we want to please fans, it looks promising, although im sure they said something like this before.

The only reason why Gears and Halo sells so well isn't the hype, its the ridiculous word of mouth and blind following, peiple who buy the game as everyone else does and to look cool.
Plus there are more 360 consoles than PS3, PS3 cannot hope to complete in software sales like this.
But as a ps3 owners, who cares, as long as they release good quality games, ill buy them, bring on Uncharted 2!

The industry is rather becoming a sad place. Money being the only priority and risky releasing new IPs. Developers releasing games multi platform to increase market, taking bribes and such.
Milking a already established franchise is easy money for Devs. I mean how can MW2 be THAT good when it took what 2 years to develop? when games like Killzone 2 took what 4 or so?
MGS rising is milking it, peace walker is not.
