As we all know, there's not found a single proof of life in space as it is. Having life on 100 of 1000 planets is already highly exaggerated to fit a game design, but the whole idea was to mimick reality while building a space fantasy around it (NASA punk).
There were never supposed to be life on every planet.
People complain about the weirdest things
How do you think Sony got the ball rolling? By buying one of the largest publishers at the time, Psygnosis who in the mid 90's accounted for 40% (!) of all videogames sold in Europe. Sony didn't crawl out of the slums, selling homemade games and hardware out of their garage. They leveraged their money earned on walkman, discman, TV's, movies and music. And then they went for a huge publisher. And after that they've bought more than half of their studios and spent a fortune on ...
Who knows what was really said between Xbox and Activision. But lot of you act like Sony is all clean and truthful. They literally got Jim Ryan on record in court lying to the public. Now, Sony isn't the one who's being sued by FTC and Jim Ryan lied to the public and not in court (that they can prove), so there will be no legal consequences for Sony.
But make no mistake, their lies and hypocrisy is on record in black and white for everyone to see.

Because nobody ever makes deals in perpetuity unless it's royalty type deals.
Any deal must have an option to be negotiated after x amount of time. Perpetuity deals kills that option for all parties involved
While they're obviously not going for full-on realism, they're still making a game very loosely rooted in NASA type space exploration. Planets outside a habitable zone (goldilocks zone) wouldn't realistically have life.
Acquisitions got nothing to do with it.
Regulators threw out Sony's arguments in the ABK deal. The "problem" was cloud, not the console business. And Sony just announced that they're doubling down on cloud gaming and mobile.
Sony's showcase was their own doing. It's ludicrous to even suggest that this was somehow Microsofts fault. Playstation usually do good shows. Now they didn't. It happens. No need to make elaborate excuses
It may contribute to lower sales of certain games. That's should be obvious to everyone.
But what is not mentioned is that GP also attracts people to games who normally wouldn't buy those games to begin with without being able to try it out first at a lower entry point. And it also lowers the threshold for people to spend money on DLC if they already got cheaper access to the game.
If anyone thinks that Microsoft (a trillion dollar company) who's very e...
If there's any truth to this, it's not something that Sony can brush under the carpet. Or Microsoft if they provide false information when accusing Sony.
Microsoft got skeletons in their closet but so does Sony. Trusting them at face value is naive.
Sony got a record of 27 different cases where they have paid over $125,008,877 in fines for :
- Competition-related offenses
- Consumer-protection-related offenses

I don't care what others say, I'm looking forward to my PSVR2
It's been a thing since the videogames industry started, like you said. Nothing new or spectacular about it. But as soon as it has something to do with Xbox, the usual suspects coming in hot with their console war mentality.
You're spot on. The majority don't really care about the exclusives. People can disagree as much as they want but this is a fact that has been backed up by sales and engagement for a very long time already. Fortnite, Call of Duty, FIFA, GTA 5, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Minecraft. All of these games are the top played games year after year. No Playstation, Xbox or Nintendo exclusive comes even close.
This is what the majority plays.
Waiting for my pre-order, less than two months away now =D
What are you talking about?
CoD is not going exclusive to Xbox if the deal goes through anytime soon. Microsoft has offered a 10 year deal to Sony, Nintendo and Valve. Call og Duty is a cash cow.
If Xbox were to make CoD exclusive to their ecosystem they would need all of the CoD players on Playstation to make the switch over to Xbox. That will never happen. They'll probably get a slice of the players over when it's on Game Pass, but that's about it.

So the legal system should block the deal for Xbox who's in last place because some people think Xbox will somehow go from 3rd place (even after ABK deal) , skip 2nd place with ease and magically appear in 1st place?
Anyone trying to sell that in court would look absolutely ridiculous.
If Xbox was at a close 2nd place the criticism would've been slightly more justified. But they're FAR AWAY from even thinking about being 2nd. Being in 1st plac...
monopoly
/məˈnɒpəli/
noun
1.
the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.
"the state's monopoly of radio and television broadcasting"
Some of you REALLY need to learn what monopoly means, throwing that word around when it's not remotely applicable in this case. Under no circumstances will Xbox have a monopoly if ABK deal goes through. Xbox will still be (at b...
There's strong bias on both sides on this site.
Just stating plain facts gets downvoted if it doesn't fit the narrative to whoever reads it.
As someone who plays on all platforms and got no problem giving any platform criticism or praise, it's super easy to spot the fanboys in here and who's flag they run with.
According to statistics there's nearly 100 million Xbox Live users. We know there's over 25 million people who subscribe to Game Pass.
I'm very interested in your insights and breakdown of how much or how little people on the Xbox platform plays.
Surely you got legitimate sources to back up your claims right?
Xbox definitely should've shown more of their games at TGA 22. But we already have a road map for 2023. Within Q2 of 2023 they're releasing a few games already. Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition for consoles in January, then there's Atomic Heart in February. Then Redfall, Starfield and Ark 2. There's no lack of games from them in 2023
Anyone who thinks Sony will cough up money for Take-Two are seriously fooling themselves. Sony is more than Playstation. Multiple divisions like movies, music, electronics, finance etc. The cash on hand is not earmarked for Playstation and could put the whole company at risk financially.
Even if they somehow did the most unlikely thing and bought Take-two, there wouldn't be any real benefit for Playstation users. GTA/RDR is too big for just one platform, same as CoD fo...
Yeah same here. I have been gaming for about 36 years now, played on pretty much every popular system during that time and owned most of them at some point. Console wars is just mind numbingly stupid.
I get it if you're very young, still living with your parents and play on whatever they bough you.
What I don't get is that adults who work, vote, have children and seemingly living adult and mature lives then logs on the internet and becomes that kid living ...
