As much as I am damn hot-as-heck anticipating for this game as much as all the PS3 fans out there, I really don't like it when developers starts spitting out flame-bait comments like "This can't be done on the 360". This is why guys like Mooks tries to invade the PS3 Zone with his spam (Honestly, that's the only thing the 360 is capable of that the PS3 will never able to pull off, no matter how powerful the Cell is).
Let's sit down and enjoy the facts:
Be...
As long as it's a CG clip, they can increase the graphical details.
It's really quite natural to use an "interactive" peripheral to play with this game. I can see this working really quite well.
They'd better tell that a "special" edition would be released beforehand or else I'll get pissed if they announce it after!
Tried to watch a preview of SFIV for the PC along with the 3D support and it basically failed to amuse anyone. I prefer the modern ones used in 4D cinemas.
Never got the chance to try out the demo (lots of people). Basically a triple screen along with the 360's driving wheel. Looks fantastic but they didn't turn on the damage which is a pity.
Who cares, isn't that what multi-platform games are aiming for. At least with the PS3 being the leading platform for development, we wouldn't need to see "Lens of Truth" articles no longer ending fanboyish desire to compare.
In 2 1/2 years since the inauguration of the PS3, it has suffered as what could be the "worst" console this generation, only inches away from being the next Dreamcast.
Now soon after, the PS3 has made tremendous strides, passing many obstacles, the economy and ridicule (until this very day). Here today, the PS3 has it all: the decent ported games, the exclusives, the online and now "the price". Looking back, all those negative issues seems so far away.
...
Speaking of the game, here in Hong Kong's Ani-Con, I've got the privilege to see Forza 3 in action with the triple screen demo. I really hope GT5 does something like that though it makes up with it's head-tracking feature.
I will admit that statement is fact. Except that you're forgetting 2 very important points:
1. Engines (especially developed for the PC) has always been proven to run better on the 360 due to it's similar architecture.
2. Cry Engine 3 blows every engine out of the water ONLY in the following conditions: 2 Geforce GTX 295 SLI graphic cards, a Core2Extreme/Core i7, 4GB RAM and last and not least, Direct X 10 or 11.
You know you can be pretty good at marketing to ...
The way this is going, current PS3 owners buying a 2nd PS3 and upcoming PS3 buyers, that 8 million gap doesn't seem so far now...
I remember news articles popping up like this during the pre-PS3 Slim (re-hashed PS3) rumors back then. But then again, those rumors came true with the PS3 Slim so who knows.
Try removing your 360 goggles.
I've never played the PS2 titles that they created. But I can say, if it wasn't for their games back then while the PS3 was still ridiculed in it's infancy, I would have gladly neglected it for a 360. Period.
Just awaiting for the new Crack of Time. I'm currently enjoying Tools of Destruction (I just hope there was trophies for this one).
You'd think the PS3 slim is for those who couldn't get one before, now we have members trying to get a second one? I must admit, the PS3-Slim (if that's what it's called) is just so enticing I'm eager to hold back my PS2 purchase just to put an "extra" blu-ray player in the living room.
Congrats to the new PS3 owners......
Despite it's bland design, I almost wanted to replace my 40GB PS3 for the Slim version. But looking at my rare Silver model, I decided to hold back.
Damn the Slim's charm......
How about this, an official PS2 emulator on a secure USB based flash drive?
So many articles of the PS3, yet when you all relate them together whether biased or not, you can't deny that the PS3 has lost it's glamor. It's a lot more easy to speak negatively about the PS3 rather than vice-versa.
Or....
This is part of Sony's plan. To hit "rock bottom" and prove to the world that the Playstation brand can be pushed to the edge, ensuring quality. As far-fetched as that sounds, you have to admit that kind of promotion would sell!
Wii-mote or the PS3-Wand? hmmm.. hmmmmm.....
