Those reports were lies. Nintendo never said they were discontinuing any amiibos.

Um, David Young from Nintendo just confirmed that no amiibos are discontinued. Also, I went to WIRED's website that the article referred to (the author failed to provide a link). There is NO proof that a Nintendo representative told WIRED about discontinued amiibos.
Glad we got an official response from somebody at Nintendo. Hopefully this will shut up all the idiots who started the rumors.
