The way the multiplayer works is pretty innovative. I've never palyed a game where I can bowl around with friends then seamlessly come together with other posse's to batter a devil walker!

One flaw in your argument is that a phone is for talking. A smartphone is for multiple things.
They made a term for it as it does more.
If I just wanted a console I'd have bought a PS4. And I did.
If I wanted to throw £350 in the toilet, I'd have bought an Xbone.
X1 should be sold at 2/3 of it's current price. Now that they've unbundled Kinect, the only proposition is to pay the same price as the PS4 for a sub-1080p mess of a console.

Actually, as a Westerner there doesn't appear to be a single noteworthy game on that console so this makes perfect sense

I can't really see that much of a difference here but I'm sure I will be able to in the actual game. As a PC elitist n00b you should know there's a big difference in pixel count there.
