W00t! I liked this one alot. A bit short, but a great experience.
No I'm pretty sure it's glorious. Lol of course the whole thing is sickening but I'm still watching it right now!
EDIT: THis show is still pretty good. I'm halfway through the episode it's kinda fun.
Ok Darkfiber, we all know your the conductor of the Bioshock 2 hate-train. No need to comment on every article.
That aside I feel your concern about it being "more of the same." It does have a 2 on the end after all, how much different can it be?
The truth is every preview says the combat is more fun, and the settings are every bit as detailed and atmospheric as the first. So what's the big deal if it's similar to the first?
Spec Ops is being developed by a team called Yager.
Whatever it is I hope it's unique. Irrational are a creative bunch; I'd hate to see them make a generic war shooter.
Hundreds of 360's are running all the time at gaming tournaments. I'm surprised one breaking down is even news.
Why couldn't they stick to the origami paper!? It's not bad, just too "busy", where the European one is just the opposite.
Just looks at that shotty! Massive damage indeed.
"It retains the ever-present tension and suspense that the first BioShock so effortlessly fed to the player, but the scenery, combat and even most of the enemy personas are very reminiscent of the original."
Hmm. I think we can all expect more of the great stuff the first gave us. Just don't expect much more than an "evolution" of what we already know.
Waiting for the Elite was the smartest thing I've ever done. Not worrying about space is nice.
I like how the AR looks, and the marines look less goofy. It is hard to tell the graphical quality from these scans though.
Bungie always puts game design choices before texture quality. Having 40 AI's fighting around you sounds more exciting than any normal mapping or lighting blahblah.
14th!? A Sunday? That's weird.
Luida's Bar? Pfft. I'd take Tifa's 7th Heaven any day of the week!
There must be some psychological explanation as to what makes people afraid of creepy children. In Ju-On and F.E.A.R especially, they seem to be the main scare throughout the game.
It doesn't scare me at all though. The first thing I thought of when seeing this article's picture is just "punch her in the face" lol.
Yeah Baka-aka while you are right, System Shock lacked the mass appeal of Bio. Only a certain section of PC gamers are familiar with it anyways.
System Shock may be Goldeneye to Bioshock being like Perfect Dark. But if no one played Goldeneye Perfect Dark would have all the praise wouldn't it?
Cool article that brings up important points. Stealth is a very touchy thing in games, especially when it's poorly implemented. It pisses people off and just feels weak in some games.
Props for calling out GRAW 2 and Silent Hill SH as good examples of stealth, I agree.
Dead Space is the most un-scary horror title ever concieved. Sure, on my first playthrough I was a bit "creeped out". But it's tragic to see people telling stories of jumping out of their seat, pissing themselves etc.
What is so scary about blasting away aliens while armed to the teeth with rock destroying machinery? Don't tell me "ammo management tension" because the only time I truly had to worry about that was on my impossible playthrough.
At 00:56 he basically injects the round into the guy's head! I didn't see that coming. :0
This looks fantastic. Maybe in 3 or 4 years I'll look into a beastly notebook under 14".
Such co-op glory demands more Bob and Steve skits on X-Play.
Yes we know they are challenging MW2. Make the headlines stop :(
Will we have 100 MoH headlines like this in the summer?
I hope it's released finished. Can't you just wait an extra 2-3 months (whatever it is they need) for the real deal?
"The good news is they [Rockstar] are not expecting to make money with Red Dead Redemption. At this point, that project is just supposed to prove that the San Diego studio can make a great quality AAA title.""
