I have all of the above games albeit call of the mountain was the trial game but nevertheless resident vil village is the best of the lot. GT7 a close second. The way capcom have mixed interactivity and a sense of being in a horror situation together is nothing short of extrodinary. This is the benchmark that all other VR games need to be looking at
Shows how many people actually care about the comments of JK Rowling. Beyond a few people with nose studs and purple hair not that many
It's good but you kind of notice the limitations in the physics engine more in VR with GT7 than you probably do on a TV. I really hope they bring out VR support for assetto corsa competizioni
How terribly woke and tiresome. Nobody cares !
Gran turismo in VR I don't care what the experts think. That and a force feedback wheel and throw in resident evil village and no man's sky and I'm happy. Anything else is a bonus
It's only baffling if you're a bit thick
A closed eco-system like the playstation brand couldnt compete with the steam deck, therefore I have to disagree with the article. The whole beauty of the steam deck is that you can do what you like with it. Once you are limited to playstaion only experiences then it becomes less attractive to the consumer. Yeah they would sell lots of units but it would inevitably go the same way as the psp and the vita. Sony knows this and thats why they are concentrating on the PS5 and their AAA games
I think they've made a mistake not having GT ready for launch as that would be a huge system seller
They missed the best one out if all time. Half life 2.
Yeah that is a good choice. Great times
I stopped reading at the part where he said "he liked it even when it wasn't cool to like the last of us".
The game has always been cool and loved from the day it released right up until today. You have to go pretty far and wide to find someone who doesn't appreciate it on at least some level, (xbox fan boys aside).
It feels like someone forcing an opinion on a subject because they have been asked to write an opinion piece rather than ...
Ripping the soul out of gaming for an increased percentage for the shareholders. I think eventually he will realise he's the idiot for ruining an art form that is sustainable with just creativity, talent and a knowledgeable community of fans.
The character models look a bit dated but generally it looks pretty decent
£70 has priced me out especially whilst we are having a cost of living crisis here in the UK. Luckily for me I can wait and start plowing through my back catalogue instead so by the time i get around to this it will be £20.
Played it for a bit but don't want to invest serious time into a product which becomes pay to win eventually. I would rather drop £8 on a port of a classic game like kotor and see it through
It looks better but not £70 better. Probably wait for this to appear on the playststion + free game list.
i think a five year old wrote this article. Some kerbs are raised some are flat. Well yes that's what happens in real life and the tracks are laser scanned anyway. And no the game doesn't have ray tracing on ps5.
Hopefully it will be more underground pyramids, jungle ruins and St Francis folly and less open world hubs with wave after wave of bad guys. In fact I wish they would take the combat more dark souls so every enemy is a challenge or a puzzle in itself and then you can have fewer enemies to wade through and more puzzle solving and exploring.
I'm not seeing the cow.
For the record replays can be viewed in VR. Also I discovered if you go into the settings in the game and put the screen brightness up to the highest setting it makes the image appear much clearer than the default value.
