3DS uses any SD card for storage, while a Vita uses unique cards of equal storage that cost much more. How is this any different from hard drives? This saves a lot of money!

First of all, I don't see how the Wii U version looks the worst. Secondly, if you think it should blow away the Xbox/PS3 versions, remember not only is the system really early in its life, but AC3 and Batman are both multiplats. A developer isn't going to take the time to overhaul the graphics for one version over the other two.

If the Wii U gets all the multi-platform games, has its outstanding first party lineup, and offer a completely unique way to play games, that's enough to make me get it. However, if you're looking for something else in a console, then by all means don't get one. Its as simple as that.

Consoles don't NEED better specs though. If specs are your thing, get a PC. What consoles need is to do use "gimmicks", or what I like to call, "innovation". I can't get a second screen experience on any other console like I can on a Wii U. I can't get full attention to fantastic motion control like I got on the Wii with Skyward Sword. And, although it can't stand alone in core gaming, I can't get a Kinect experience anywhere but on an Xbox 360.

How are Halo 4 and God of War any different in that respect? Both are yet another title to a well established franchise. Of course the core idea to the game will keep to its own formula, but they both are mixing things up a little. You can't bash Halo for being a so-called "cash in" while God of War is doing the same. For the record, I'm excited for both of these games, but the double standards some people have on this site are ridiculous.

Yup, it worked great. Even more reason to see move support.

That is a cool idea. Maybe free games would be a bit much, but perhaps you could trade in coins for stuff like hats for your Mii (similar to getting stuff for an Xbox avatar), or maybe cool backgrounds for your home screen (similar to themes for the xbox dashboard or PS3).

I have never been a fan of achievements. I prefer to play the game how I want and not do what the game thinks I should to receive points that literally count for nothing.

Still, I see no reason not to include such a feature. If Wii U has some kind of achievement system, then cool. If not, I could care less.

Then get a PC, since that's what they do best, and always will. Consoles can't rely simply on power upgrades anymore. They need to set themselves apart with unique features. Exclusive titles, innovative controls, and compatibility with other devices such as PS3/Vita and Wii U/3DS are what makes consoles worth it.

I quite enjoyed the multiplayer of the first one. The campaign was too over-the-top for my tastes, however/

I'm still waiting for MH3G to be localized in America. That said, I need more Monster Hunter!

Well, considering how tightly under wraps Nintendo is keeping all things Wii U, expect this list to be significantly more awesome post E3.

I fail to see what this comparison is trying to prove?

Although I'm very optimistic about the controller, GreenRanger is absolutely right. My only worry about the WiiU is how 3rd parties will use the unique controller. Of course it will be nice to always have maps and inventories on the touchscreen for easy accessibility, but it can be used for so much more too. The WiiU can be the best console for PC style games, such as RTS or MMO. These games require precise controls that you can't get with a stick, but can with a touchscreen. It may...

@Clemins50

I could just as easily say you're being lazy for not simply looking at the screen sitting in your hand, so the laziness argument doesn't really fly. And you can't tell me that inventory and maps in games such as Skyrim wouldn't be infinitely easier to navigate with a touchscreen than a control stick. That's not even to say how many possibilities the controller has for gameplay applications.

I agree with most of what you're saying here. I'm fine with Samus being upset about losing Adam, because she has very good reason to as you clearly pointed out. She is human after all.

My only complaint is her switching to crybaby mode when Ridley comes out. I get it, he killed her parents. However, given that this game takes place after Super Metroid, she should be mostly over it by now. I would understand why she would be terrified had it been her first or second e...

I'm gonna win E3! The wait is killing me!

I'm not gonna disagree that this sounds strange at first, but then you gotta remember crazier crossovers exist. Just look at Kingdom Hearts. You play as some kid teamed up with Donald Duck and Goofy to fight the evil forces of the Heartless from spreading darkness across various Disney worlds, from Little Mermaid, to Nightmare before Christmas, to Tarzan, to Pinocchio. They touch upon some pretty deep and dark plot points that I'd never expect a Disney character to be a part of, nor ...

If all these great new ideas that Nintendo has added to gaming even just recently are considered "gimmicks", then I would absolutely refuse to buy a console that had no gimmicks.

Just sitting here I can think of so many awesome ideas for such a crossover and it utilizing the unique features of the WiiU. Just imagine what Retro could come up with!
