Interesting piece, but I honestly am getting tired of people associating a killer with their love for video games. Everybody plays video games now. You think now that every murderer or thief in the world is going to be accused of going down this road because he or she likes to chill out and play a couple games?
Give it a year, I'm sure that'll be made too. ;)
How on earth is Budokai 2 your favorite? My god, I can kill myself playing through the story mode!
Budokai 3 is awesome! I only wish it was made available as a standalone title, because I have no interest in Budokai 1. And its okay if Budokai 2 isn't in the collection. It's not needed.
Music makes me want to play the games all over again!
Yeah, I totally agree. I wish there were more. But I was still happy to see all the awesome world premieres.
I don't even like hockey, but this is some pretty good stuff!
I want this game so bad! Ubisoft Montreal produced two amazing games in one year! Both of which are candidates for GOTY! AC3 and Far Cry 3! :D
Have both, love both for different reasons! End of story!
I've already seen the game in action, so I can easily vouch for that review score. It's an absolutely incredible game and a definite contender for Game of the Year 2012! (Alonside Dishonored, Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2 and Assassin's Creed 3) Anyone else?
I've never played a Far Cry game before. I own Far Cry 2, but...just haven't picked it up yet. I'm planning on doing so when the holiday break sets in for me. Then, when the price goes drops, I'll pick up Far Cry 3. I'm already occupied by an endless number of games as it is. But I don't wanna skip Far Cry 3. From early reviews, it looks to be one of the best games this year!
People need to stop being babies about Dante. Who cares what he looks like. He's more of a character than he ever was now. Sure, we may not like his dialogue and the way he spoke in the demo, but that's early parts of the game. It's called "character development", people. And furthermore, a demo doesn't always define the overall quality of the game. For example, though the Bioshock demo provides a great introduction, it's not a very impressive demo, overall. But ...
I was at MIGS, actually! It was pretty much this! In other words, informative and awesome!
I knew it all along! Gaming has its perks! :)
The first Mirror's Edge was a game that I was happy it existed. It's not revolutionary, by any means. Heck, it has a fair share of problems. But it was decent. It had a crap ton of potential, which is why I was hoping a sequel was in the works. This'll be good!
The point I was trying to make is that Mass Effect 3 came very late into the Xbox 360's life cycle, and it nears the limits of its technology. If the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 runs beautifully at the console's launch, and still has a whole life cycle ahead of it, the games are only going to look better. Until Microsoft and Sony's new consoles come out, technically, better-looking games CAN come out from the Wii U. Give it a year or two. It won't catch up with the "PS...
That appears to be what gamers love to do best :P
Too soon to determine, if you ask me. Time will only tell. Personally, I find that the Wii U startles this fine line in-between current-gen and next-gen. I mean, when Xbox 360 was still new and Mass Effect 1 came out, it blew people's minds away. Five years later, Mass Effect 3 is a far more advance game than the 1st one ever way, and yet, Mass Effect 3 runs beautifully and perfectly on the Wii U, a brand-new console. Five years into to the Wii U's life, one can only imagine how good ...
I've actually considered pitching in with my friend and sharing one. Don't know if that'll work, but we'll see.
Sooner or later, there will be too many pokemon. For god's sake, there are enough legendary pokemon now to make up an entire generation. Unless GameFreak plans on tackling the console market and making much more open Pokemon games, they should cut back a little and wait. If not, then I would totally be down for a Pokemon MMO!
