Star citizen takes place on a way larger scale, the answer to that question is no, not better. Quantic Dream always loves to make linear on the rails type of games.
I played both, PC is brighter by a lot but you can change this. regardless of it the textures and a lot of the game looks much the same. the only differences is the res increase and the ability to "hack" the performance.
I wish they would show some PC gameplay, or at least elaborate more on that anyways.
......F kim. she be everywhere!!
that took a while, and they still didn't clarify what the target res is, being months away from launch.
I thought the ad campaign was pretty catchy at first, now it's just everywhere. i don't see the fiasco in this comical publicity stunt...
I've seen more obvious ads; Apple's "i'm a PC" which went on for years. and Taco Bell's "Ronald McDonald approves" ad. funny stuff.
I got a chance to enjoy this on my PC today. It ran pretty good, 60 fps with some dips at ultra settings. The interesting factor is that the ultra settings barely feel "Ultra", nothing seems to improve the textures. it's also awkwardly brighter than the Xbox one version, at default it seems.
The system requirements were sort of hard to believe, but my performance did drop when waves of zombies started to accumulate. the specs could be accurate, it is a sandbox ...
Everything is online, welcome to the 21st century buck rogers. :) http://youtu.be/xsJxq00YgBM...
lol, no seriously, the pictures do look depressing. but amazon takes the orders nowadays. those who wanted the console probably has it by now.
I didn't expect a big impact really, being that smart phones and Ipads share the pop culture over there.
"There are dedicated gamers on all platforms. A better phrasing would be. PC gaming is for enthusiasts."
PC gamers are based on the similar principles of consoles gamers, console gamers need to buy new hardware to see an improvement as well. what separates PCs from Consoles is freedom.
PC gamers can not only go forward with their upgrades, but also play on 3 different types of PC based platforms without having to repurchase a game.

elda - "there's nothing like sitting back on your couch or bed looking at your big screen hd tv holding your videogame controller & playing your fav videogame."
you can do that on PC too. Steam has a console mode, for which you can boot into at the push of your power button.

Unlike consoles, PCs can be customized.
there was confirmation from an other source that the lighting did change.

I'll let the people who are willing to pay to play this, i just know i wouldn't. not because of lack of weapons, but more like i have the whole internet to explore for this specific subject.
I buy games that have story and enough potential to be on my shelf or hard drive. the game can have weapons or no weapons, but a story or a purpose is a must in my books.
It looks very nice. they should make this like Non-Stop with Liam Neeson, solving murders, but in a boat this time.
lost odyssey 2 announcement or a scalebound gameplay blowout and i'd be totally be cool with them for their event.
looks actually great. I wish them luck.
Eventually there will be only so many ways to play a game before it begins to feel too distracting or foreign.
The problem is when you're limited to any controller with set functions, everything will eventually repeat because of this. based on the majority of feedback, everyone loved RE4, Gears and uncharted's mechanics because of how well the controls worked.
This is also why there are so many copycats out there. camera angles and gaming mechanics ar...
"Dead or Alive 5" Last Round.
Those ugly shadows and environments in 1080p? I wish they'd do something about that. otherwise not worth the money.
"PrinceOfAllSaiyans - "
Maybe a lot of Xbox One games will come to PC, but with Sony you'll never be able to play their games anywhere but on a PlayStation."
I would say the amount of first party games on both platforms will stay exclusive. anything 3rd party be it on both platforms could land on PC.
Forza and GT will never hit PC, same for naughty dog or rare studios.
More Gameplay and a release date. just no more console promotional DLC deals, once it starts then it spreads. crap should be on the disc anyways.
WeAreLegion - "There are much better looking games out there, especially on PC."
Star Citizen has a near 54 million dollar budget, it's CryEngine 3 based and it's Constellation commercial was real time using improved assets.
