How about a 15 minute trailer....after so many years, they owe us that much.
8-Tflops GPU would be killer if the pricing is low. 8-Tflops GPUs could theoretically Render PC games of this generation at 4k 60 fps, if the recommended specs stays at a GTX-780/R9-290. That also reminds me, the PC community should let game developers know the recommended requirements shouldn't exceed a 780 or 290 ASAP.....those GPUs aren't even being taken advantage and here we are with Square Enix using 4 titan Xs on us.
"Is PC gaming better than console?"
In exclusives not always the case, in number of exclusives Sure, Korea is pumping out 10 pc games alone. In truth, You would need one of each platform to play all the best games, ever made.
I would say pc is more future proof spanning outside of a console's life cycle. Nearing 3-4 years you would want some standards to progress. And at the same time you would want these standards to pass over to older games ...
Just to make it less difficult on frequently asked topics. I posted a link for Daz3D. http://docs.daz3d.com/doku....
If you use UE4 they give you a game developer license and copyrights.
A quick shortcut tip. Makehuman and Daz3D are both character creation studios that are free To download, and they can export to UE4. According to their EULA, they allow you to make characters using their software in games and sell them residual free. You however cannot sell individual characters, or them as DLC.
Makehuman exports characters as low as 35,000 polygons up to 80k. characters can be exported with bones, no animations. Daz 3D has a character creation studio+ animat...
Saw the pilot episode of this last week at a friend's place On his PS. I thought the first episode was a 6.5. Basic summary- Once was rock star super hero "Diamond" (which name could pass for a strip club dancer.) Loses his powers in a special event against The wolf. (who is Quite similar to Hannibal lecter.)
Diamond seeks to retrieve his super hero powers. The story has meat and potatoes in it, but it doesn't seem to have that HBO or Showtime vibe to it. ...
Cool, i was just playing around with UE4 just last night.
@ donthate
nothing, there is no paper trail leading to it. It's just cynical thinking Because it's looked upon as a direct competing platform.
He could have owned a pc as well and expected his pc standards to be met. Or he could have been a Wii-U owner who bought into advertisements. I use to buy into the publicly, and listen to the people that took part in backing it up.
profitable not to the consumer, not yet anyways.
I most likely would just wait for this to drop in price, and look forward to the 4k experience in the long run.
Developers catching up to pc. it would be considered Sloppy work.
It was mentioned by the team that it was also coming to pc, as part of choosing UE4.
he may like a specific brand but i don't think he's crazy enough to work under anyone again. Why let Sony or Microsoft control his IPs? It'd be the same thing all over again when his job is done. Independent studio is the way for him.
You can always custom make your own foliage and apply damage physics to them. Most environmental artists just stick with generated foliage to conserve time.
not adding to any flame war, i think konami has jack without kojima. I mean he helped put them on the map and contributed Money in their pockets. I would seriously like to read the spread on what happend.
The whole series is on PC anyways. i still haven't completed my enhanced edition yet.
@ DarkOcelet
Yes that would be killer. yesterday was a big turnaround for SE-japan division, they haven't been making good on performance since the Crystal tools engine and the FFXIII trilogy last gen. this is a major step forward to their workflow on future projects, making optimization their top priority on all platforms including lead.
Can't wait to see, i wish they would announce it as the next FF and release the old demo to the public.
I'm 50/50 on the PC version, I'm going to pick it up again regardless. Just don't like the switch in controls. A majority of reviews and YouTube videos said the game was stale without kinect. For this game you sort of need the device to see the creator's vision.
"I saw was a somewhat detailed character model in a pretty barren background (that as we saw wasn't even a fully designed level or scene) and some mountain with a bunch of low poly shacks. "
I think the guy said 60 million polygons in the scene. Agni's hair was done in high poly strands, rendered individually.
resolution and graphics do matter, that's why everyone moved on to the current gen. so in the same sense higher graphics quality and resolutions would apply to the same equation.
