Wow, this guy sure can't spell "Silver" properly.
OH GEE I WONDER IF CALL OF DUTY IS ON THERE?
SHOCKER.
I'm getting real sick of these "lists" that keep appearing on N4G
This article title is very misleading. The argument is based purely on speculation by the author and doesn't offer any proof. Just saying.
This...is a horrible argument.
Was thinking about picking up Medal of Honor for the campaign for cheap, could anyone give me any thoughts (especially in comparison to Battlefield 3's campaign, which I also thought was atrocious).
Writer of the review here. Your guys' comments made us realize that the review was indeed factually incorrect. I sincerely apologize; a new review amending this will be published shortly, addressing the mistakes as well as giving a more appropriate score. Thank you for pointing out my mistake.
While the description could have made it clearer that this was a review about the games accessibility towards disabled gamers, it's pretty sad that a lot of you immediately scoffed at the score without even checking to see WHY they scored it so low (in doing so, would have found out it's a review for disabled gamers).
It doesn't really bother me. I'm one of the few people who plays CoD for the single-player specifically; if they reuse a building, no big deal. Besides, how do you know it's a laziness, and not an homage (for all you guys know, that could be the ONLY building that does that).
No one complained in MW2 when they reused a couple campaign levels from CoD4 for Spec Ops. In fact I thought it was cool.
To most of the people commenting, I like how you're complaining about the score, but if you read it you would have seen it was a Modern Warfare 2 review. Shows exactly what's wrong with the industry right there.
A game's Metacritic score isn't important. Just enjoy the game.
Uhhh dude, Modern Warfare 3 uses a completely new engine, the IW 5.0 engine. Both Call of Duty 1 and 2, and 3 were using modified versions of id Tech 3, but starting with 4 Infinity Ward was started using their own proprietary engine. Each Modern Warfare game uses a new engine, but Treyarch is still using Call of Duty 4's engine, which is now outdated.
So yeah, I suppose you could make this argument towards Treyarch, but don't point this argument to Infinity Ward. MW...
Nolan is literally in EVERYTHNG, but most of the time you can't tell its him because he's so freakin' talented and has a range far beyond his "Nathan Drake" voice.
You know he voiced the Penguin in Arkham City right?
