I'm a bit tired of this fanboyism and anti-fanboysim. Can't we all just forget that the console producers are rivals and just enjoy what they produce? Who gives a flying filly which console has the most AAA titles? Doesn't it matter more if you like said games or not?

Been watching a certain show lately?

I am baffled at this idea. The possibilities are whirring around my otherwise empty head. Given there is a finite number of weapons, places and enemies I think this would be possible. Then again, I'm no game developer yet.

I liked that teaser. It did what it was supposed to. It teased.

I could make out three words from the radio; the words 'OK', what sounded like 'Thank you' and what sounded like 'Roger' or 'Roger that'. It's clearly radio chatter. I doubt the specific words have much significance. In the background you can hear a deep rumbling sound that could be the engine of a ship or something.

This appears to be in 1967. I can't remember when the first one took place, but shouldn't that give us an idea if it's a prequel or a sequel?
Apparently, the attacker raced out the window at great speed. Doesn't sound like a Big Daddy to me. I even doubt it would fit through a window.
Also, who sent that letter? And who made the notes in red ink? And what footprints!?
I'm totally excited.

What's this? Firefox implementing something someone else did first? Preposterous.

I agree.

I agree. Let us make a new portal for gamers! We shall call it...Rapture!

Sweet.
A bit misleading at times, but a nice list of good games for each of the three platforms.

@MegaMohsi: I guess it would be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. They omitted the 4 in the first Modern Warfare, so I'm assuming they would do the same for this one.
It's hard to innovate shooting things. In the end you will always be shooting things. The innovations have to come in the form of graphics, AI, controls, physics, things like that. And since we don't know anything about CoD6 it's premature to call it generic. Although it may very well be generic by the time it comes out. We...

As long as they allow me change the mode of fire on automatic weapons I'll be happy. And maybe update the graphics. And make it a bit longer.

I agree as well. While some parts of the game are awesome, the combat feels tacked on, and brings the thrill down a few notches. For the sequel I hope they introduce an alternative to fighting/disarming, and a more open world with more routes (and less trial and error).
Good review, although a bit harsh on the fun factor for my liking.

I also prefer CoD4 to CoD5. CoD5 is really short, and the story didn't really do anything for me. Even the fact that they got Kiefer Sutherland in to do a voice didn't help much. And that Russian campaign, it's basically the same as the previous Russian campaign.
In my book, CoD4 is the better CoD of the two latest ones.

Uno.

Combat is Combat is indeed terrible.
However, I did not find the graphics to be too bad. I quite like the style. Maybe I don't have a great eye for graphical detail.

I totally agree about the controls. Can be annoying at times. Other than that, a really good game.

I wouldn't say Force Unleashed, MGS4 or CoD:WaW lived up to its hype, but that might just be me. Nonetheless, LBP is a good game indeed. Annoying controls at points, and a couple of glitches, but tons of fun to be had.

What is the meaning of this? Does it matter who has the most "AAA" exclusive titles? No. What happened to playing games for the fun of it?

Although I really liked the first Halo, and I've enjoyed the other Halo games as well, I can't help but wonder what Halo would be like if MS didn't get involved. I remember spending 7 hours on a dial up connection, downloading about 100mb of Halo trailer, and then it looked like a completely different game. Maybe that's why some people don't like Bungie as much anymore. I like Bungie. But I think I would like them more if they had made Halo as it was in their original vision.
