The console will sell well but it's difficult to consider it as a main home console, when Switch will not be receiving the vast majority of the big multiplatforms. It will be more like a secondary console for anyone who already has PC, PS4 or X1. In the end it's another Nintendo console that will sell well this year because of Mario and Zelda, but then will fade away like the Wii U did.
My story: 1995 (SNES), 1997 (Megadrive), 2001 (PS1), 2003 (PS2), 2006 (PC Gaming), 2010 (PS3), 2011 (PSV), 2014 (PS4). Nowadays: PC Gaming and PS4. I have respect for those who like it, but I never had interest in Xbox. I love Japanese games, and I can play all of them on PC and Playstation Platforms. And besides I have adapted very well on Playstation since PS2.

You can't grab a great franchise multiplatform and simply make it exclusive, even if it's timed. This is total lack of respect for the fans. Sony did the same with Street Fighter V, and I hate it. If you want to make a "exclusive title" from a third party, pay and create its own franchise, as Bloodborne and Sunset Overdrive.

I think this is not gonna happen until 2019. TLOU2 will be announced at E3 2017 and will be released in 2019. This is my prediction. ND has been working hard on Uncharted 4. And part of the team is working on UC4 Multiplayer elements and DLC for the single player mode right now. I'm pretty sure TLOU 2 will be more ambitious than TLOU and Uncharted 4. And it will require a lot of time to work on the game. I bet the new game will be released the same year as GTA 6, again. lol

It's relative. I lot people love COD, especially the zombie mode. For them, COD is a good game. Just because people hate CS, Minecraft or LOL, doesn't mean they are bad games. Activision has a lot of money to put into their franchises. Quality they have to spare.

I doubt it. Maybe a trailer for Uncharted 4 dlc (SP) this year would make more sense. The Last of Us 2 is a 2018-2019 game, with announcement at E3 2017. It might be better not go bothering ND with this. When it's time it will be revealed, with no pressure. And I hope they don't show the game too much as they did with Uncharted 4. Sony showed so much spoiler of UC4 before being released.
PS3 architecture was a nightmare for Sony. I'm still amazed how Rockstar Games did magic with GTA V.
