Yay! Definitely want to play this.
How is this an advantage? No, Sony still has the better hardware and developers. However, I expect both to bring it @ E3 this year by showing a lot of great new games.
If anything Xbone should be even cheaper to continue playing their laughable game of catch-up. Not that it matters, crap hardware is crap. Poor developer relationships is poor. Lies are lies. Etc., etc.
Haha, nice one.
You realize 1080p 60fps is easy right? Just make crappy looking games that don't push boundaries. Idiot.
Why'd people disagree with me? Weird.
The story definitely has it's cool moments. The last few levels especially are really awesome imo. Just push through it to get to the good stuff haha.
While I do believe they could have got this to 1080p @ 30fps on PS4 if they didn't have other platforms to worry about (especially with it being cross-generation), I know I'll get a lot of enjoyment from it, and that's really what matters most by a long shot. 30fps doesn't bother me either about a game like this. Yes, I believe graphics and gameplay should evolve hand-in-hand, but at least Watch Dogs is doing something refreshing for the open-world action game genre. Going to ...
Honestly, 900p @ a locked 30fps for the PS4 version isn't a deal breaker for me for this game. However, there's a little game called Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Ubisoft released that runs in 1080p @ 30fps on PS4 and in many ways it looks more visually impressive, especially when out at sea during a storm. I wonder why they couldn't get Watch Dogs to 1080p on PS4 is all I'm saying. I'm sure it had something to do with cross-gen development for this particular game. I k...
The MP was my favorite part of Ascension which was surprising. Really loved it, same with the TLoU (though on that game the SP was tops). Really unique and exciting MP components on those games.
I'm going to sink so many hours into this game. Stoked.
The videos are horribly compressed and yet it still looks incredible. The sense of speed is fantastic as well. I'm going to have so much fun with this game.
My God this game looks so amazing. See you in October as well!
I was playing BF4 quite a bit on my PS4 for a while, but a week or so ago I started playing TLoU MP again using my DS4, and I have to say, I reeaallyy wanted to use the L2 and R2 buttons to aim and fire. They feel so damn good for shooting games imo. If they allow custom controls for the remastered version on PS4 I think it's a win-win.
Good God I would love to see GoW 3 remastered for PS4. That game still blows me away.
Guess it depends. I think having a dedicated platform to work on was the reason those games you mentioned looked/look astonishingly good. GoW 3 is the most epic game I've ever played imo, I still go back and play it every now and then just for a good jaw-dropping. However that's off topic. I'll watch 'Advanced Warfighter' closely leading up to release and see if it truly revitalizes CoD for me.
I still don't see how they can consider this a 'pure next-gen' CoD when it still uses a variation of the same engine, and is releasing cross-generation...
This game looks so f'n fantastic. Can't wait to play it.
I don't care why it was delayed, just extremely happy to know when to expect it! Stoked!
Funny to bring up Watch Dogs when it runs far under the PS4 version (just like pretty much every third-party game so far) at just above native 720p on the Xbone. Smh. It's not like the average person doesn't know why Watch Dogs isn't as stunning as it should be either, just saying. And as far as games go, there are already a lot more to play on PS4 than X1, and there are far more in development, especially AAA's from Sony's first-party and others. Shame on you.
