I have only one PS3 game in my library, and I have only bought two PS3 games in my lifetime since its launch. I bought Heavenly Sword and Ninja Gaiden Sigma...thats it.
But that is long enough for me. I tend to immerse myself in a game such as this in my first play-through; so I know it will take me much longer to complete and enjoy this game. Not to mention the bonus content, different difficulties settings, and online play; 9-10 hours seems just right to me.
Will be the only flops on that list. People may disagree with me about NG II, but honestly it looks and plays from what I've seen just like Ninja Gaiden on the first Xbox, and that turns me off. Even the visuals from what I've seen looks exactly like Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Lastly Halo Wars is an RTS; the only RTS I will tolerate is EndWar enough said.
Paying $500 for a Core Console and two games: Halo 3 and GTAIV is not even close to being worth it. The PS3 + GTAIV is a lot cheaper and Microsoft seriously must be insane if people are that stupid to pay 500 dollars for the cheapest sku you have on the market. By the way should I mention the pro packaged at $679.00? That is just ridiculous.
I have four days to play this straight if everything goes as planned. Once GTAIV comes out I will probably play a little, or just stop altogether. Honestly MGS4 is my most anticipated title of the year, but the beta can't match up a full game that is GTAIV; in which I will pay for.
Stuff like this actually makes me want to switch my pre-order to the PS3 version....
Wasn't the whole draw of the game to have a half-naked female kick ass? I suspect that part 2 might sell less than part one if thats true...
I was okay with just trophies, but in the end I just play games I care about; I don't play for achievements....
I hope so...
Break the walls down!!!!!!!!
Sorry had to do it.
Will pretty much last me until MGS4 actually comes out in June.
Or any JRPG with guys in tight leather and whatnot ala FF7. Now for the girls who are just casual they have a ton of DS games for that.
But I am not going to care if it comes out in the Metal Gear Solid Beta and Grand Theft Auto 4 time frame.
I meant I sold it to a customer for 32.50 used.
Compared from what I've seen in single-player the multi-player graphics does seem like it was downgraded by a lot.
Scary I just sold this game for 32.50 at my job at Gamestop USED! That guy would of saved a lot of money if he would have waited....
I mean from the start it gives that deja vu feeling and then at the end it screams "REMAKE".
Considering if you combine both systems it would equal about 27-28 million units; add that with the people who are going to buy systems just for GTA IV, and you can possibly get 30 million copies or more worldwide if of course their was an 100% adoption rate for the year of 2008.
But honestly it ain't going to happen I predict at least 10-11 million by years end.
First off RPGs are my favorite genre, and honestly Lost odyssey is one of the worst RPGs I have ever played because of its mediocre feel. The story is completely one-sided with no plot twist whatsoever. All the characters are uninspiring with some really awkward voice-acting.
Everything in this game doesn't feel right the entire game just feels wrong. Especially in the game-play department where they have a system that forces you to play with the entire party. This game is so bel...
It probably won't sell, but made by EA or not this game looks really good for me. I like original games ala Indigo Prophecy, Breakdown, DreamFall etc.
