hehe, thx!
can anybody tell me, why this story is a duplicate? (as stated by POG and his second account shocky 16)
this is ridiculous!
it's cpt. picard :)
in a lot of ways, MS reminds me of Ford. They invented the production line and now they have not had a real innovation for decades
of course they make money. but you have to see where they come from: a 100% market share.
stock are not about company profit, they are about the expectation if they do better or worse than before. i think this pic about the browser and search market is a good example:
http://images.appleinsider....
i agree windows 7 might actually work, but:
-many companies want to keep on working with XP. through the netbook market, other OS are getting very popular.
-MS looses on the phone (three times more cellphones than PCs on this planet) and music market.
all they have now is windows xp and ms office. 2 good products for a company with thousands of employees? are you kidding me?
i think they should be really afraid of google with their office su...
why should you speak negatively about apple now, after they have lowered their prices.
i can only find a negative article about MS:
http://blogs.barrons.com/te...
it's a company that had a monopoly and cannot even code a working OS for years now. just look at ballmer's arrogant response after the introduction of the iphone....
... or listen to Argus Research.
the number of samples does not influence the value of the average.
it only influences the accuracy of the approximation!
i think the prices are ok.
you have to take the software into consideration. if you buy a windows machine with the capabilities of the iLife software and so forth, you clearly have to pay more than for the mac.
also, try to find a desktop machine like the imac (size) at dell or another store. you will see they cost almost 1000$ more.
i think sony did something very good when they supported the development of the cell.
they can use the same technology for the next playstation. just add more cores and ram and there you go. it will be a cheap, powerful console without high development costs.
hehe, this is the foxnews of gaming!
btw: i hope they release natal this year. it means it will be nothing better than the the eyetoy,
the demo is now up, follow the link to the eurogamer site
it's stupid to accuse someone as racist and use anne frank in such a context...
this author is trying to hard to be a badass and fails utterly.
one effect is making it hard for the ps3 to close the gap:
in the lifetime of a console, the sales increase year over year. with one year head start, is xbox's headstart also has a stronger effect now the later we are in the generation.
never the less, the ps3 sells stronger when compared to the xbox and will eventually surpass it. no doubt!
who cares if the PS3 is catching up?
considering the price, sony wants it to be the premium experience. and it is!
i also consider macs better than windows machines, even though they only have 10% of the market.
sure the tech isn't fake. it's the same tech we know from the PSEye or karaoke games (tone of voice).
hundreds of scientists try to make perfect voice recognition for years. if you really believe MS can do that for a stupid gaming console, you must be crazy!
from an engineering stand point, the lightbulb is a great idea. it solves the precision problem of further systems in a very cheap way.
just imagine handling a sword with the precision of a controller. it will be amazing!
everybody who thinks natal is actually going to work with real games is nuts.
it will be even more a gimmick than the motion sensing of the PS3 controllers... and you have to pay extra for it!
make that a more sophisticated.
just because it's not a PC ripoff doesn't make it inferior.
