They're apparently gonna review them again when the retail disks come out, so they better not fuck up again.
Being a business major doesn't qualify you to know about company's financials. Microsoft is actually worth around $260 billion not $500 million, but when Ballmer took over in 2000 they were worth more than double that. They have certainly seen their war chest diminish significatly in recent years. They have had a lot of losses from their entertainment and devices division and the xbox is one of those. They have never made a cumulative profit from the xbox. Recently, a Microsoft shareh...
It was initially planned for the 360 not the xb1. That would explain why some who have gotten to play it already have been underwhelmed. Launch titles are quite often shit quality.
Sony also announced at Gamescom that if you sign up for 1 year of PSN Plus, they will give you another 3 months free. So it's currently 15 months for $50.
Your logic is piss poor,WB. MS has been charging for online since 2002. I notice you're ignoring the content of the article and trying to bring up Sony's charging for online instead of attempting defending Microsoft's poor practices. Please, by all means, attempt to defend Microsoft keeping all their "features" behind their xbl gold paywall.
They are also keeping f2p games like world of tanks behing their xbl gold paywall which Sony is not doing with their f2p games.
neildee, that was one of the worst opinion pieces I've ever read. At least learn how to write out coherent paragraphs and thoughts before submitting an article.
reputation managers, plain and simple. I don't buy for a second that the pro xbone comments are getting that many agrees. It's simply Microsoft astroturfing.
Once they actually play the xbone and see it's not as advertised, its sales will suffer. Those games will be underwhelming when they're not playing on nvidia gtx cards as they were at E3. Casuals will always buy the cheaper one anyway.
The PS4 will certainly kill the xbone in worldwide sales.
You lost all credibility when you stated Microsoft has been more transparent than Sony. I'm sorry but that does come across as very fanboyish to me. Notice you're getting a fair amount of downvotes. Microsoft was about as vague as you could get about all the details of their DRM since about May 21st. Their employees were giving different answers to the same question. Again, saying "we will share more details later" is not transparent. They said that again and again the last ...
I find it extremely ironic that an xbox fanboy is accusing Sony of being vague at all. Microsoft tried to screw over gamers and you still apologize and defend them. They were vague about everything with the old "we'll share more details at a later date" and "not available at launch". Keep drinking that Microsoft koolaid though.
Nope! Microsoft has never made a cumulative profit from their gaming division since 2001. That information is readily available online. http://www.wired.com/gameli...
Read the above article and look at the pretty little graphs if you don't believe me. Their entertainment and devices division, which includes xbox, has lost about 8 billion since 2001. Probably more by now, they just posted...
Big surprise! Microsoft was running the games on Nvidia GTX cards at E3 and now when people play them on their true xbone hardware they are very underwhelmed. Not surprising at all.
They said it was dropping in as low as 16fps at times. This is gonna get ugly!
