Having to upgrade programs is a way of life when you upgrade your Windows OS, Unless all your programs were made by M$ then you are bound to have some that don't work and are not compatible. Er yes well there is a tiny little negative for the Wii, unlike 360 and PS3 - Nintendo can't say they sold any additional hardware as a result of GTA 4's release.
Assimilating game companies is EA's (The Borg) job, M$ is more of a parasite it infects things and riddles them with problems.
I use altavista, I sort of visit yahoo every now and then to check out there 'Movie' section but thats it. Besides I never really have anything good to look up on altavista anyway.

Under EA the huge evil rich company it is, GTA games should atleast then be properly tested before release and FREEZE proof atleast...

Is actually a pity they are selling so damn fast, as I'd love to buy a version with a HDD to then buy a truck load of VC games, however they obviously want to capitalize on the situation so until demand heavily dies down they won't release the Colored Wii's with the rumored HDD and with/without DVD support (DVD support not important anyway).
Aslong as they keep selling this fast we will see no new Wii models(colors) and no price cuts.

Shortages easily create hype, something is never available then it has to be good, makes people willing to pay even more for one. also Nintendo does make more profit selling consoles outside of NA.

3 year warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.
They'll bring out the xbox 3 before 3 years and discontinue the 360 console just like the xbox, this time due to embarrassment of the 360's poor reliability, so their won't be anymore replacements unless you visit your local tip/garbage depot. Anyway once the xbox 3 is released I predict all remaining non-'RROD' 360's to 'RROD' on mass.
