I still have 2 launch day 60gb ps3 systems that i got in November 2006 that still work just fine. Also know of 20+ friends that has launch day ps3's that also still work.
Microsoft has to sony for the blu ray drive in each Xbox 1 now.
Ps4 has sold around 25 million as of June 2015. Also neither system has peaked yet. With major games coming out this fall that are exclusive to next gen like Battlefront, Hitman, Fallout 4, and other exclusive games that will not be on PS3 / X360. They will both sell very well this fall / holiday season.
Ps4 will sell 40 million before X1 or wiiu. Xbox announced 10 million shipped in November so it took 8 months to sell 2 million systems with heavy discounts & multiple games bundled in.
What about the major downgrade forza 5 got to get 1080p 60fps.
Microsoft also published mass effect but it came out on ps3 later on.
If it is a xbox console exclusive why did they say xbox exclusive for holiday 2015 @ gamescon? Why not say console exclusive then?
Yea their maybe is that many pcs that can run this game. The real question is how many of them will actually buy the game & not pirate it? The last TR game only sold around 3 million copies while ps3 & ps4 combined sold around 3.2 million copies.

Xbox has won NPD (USA) 3 months & PS4 has won NPD 15 months + worldwide each month. So how is the momentum starting to shift? The x1 only won in april because of the batman ps4 bundle that they put up for pre order at the end of march that does not count as systems sold until they are ship out. PS4 is going to out sell the x1 in June by more than 100,000 systems in NPD.
People know need for speed will not be exclusive. Why would playstation blog say anything about the game coming to Xbox or pc? Does Xbox sites tell people games are coming out on ps4?
Sony didn't force it's customers to buy the ps camera like xbox did at launch.

You must be from the future or have a time machine to know it's going to look like a remastered uncharted 3 & ND didn't use the full power of the ps4. Since the game is still a year away!
Yes they are worth getting game play & story are very good. IMO they are some of the best superhero games made so far.
If sony had quit releasing exclusive games on ps3 like ms did on 360. Would the ps4 exclusives be a disappointment then? They released god of war ascension , the last of us , gran turismo 6 & other exclusive games all came out in the same year the ps4 launched.
I know the feeling I have 50 ps4 & x1 + over 300 ps3 & x360 games so far. My blu ray & dvd collection is even worse.
The order & bloodborne are already paid for.
The csi game & ncis games are easy to get platinum trophies in.
gran turismo 5 sold 10+ million
god of war 3 sold 5+ million
uncharted trilogy sold 17+ million
32+ million sold
all 4 gears of war games has sold 22 + million
Gears of war 3 by it's self didn't even sell as many copies as gran turismo 5 has.
I got to try this VR tech out myself @ Disney World Fl. back in 1994-1995. I was among the first 30 people to get to use it. I was blown away by it. It felt like I was really flying a magic carpet in Aladdin. If all the new VR tech coming out soon is as good as what I got to try 20 years ago then it will be a game changer.

I don't see microsoft bundling them 2 games. They will most likely do a halo bundle with mcc & halo 5 or bundle halo 5 & gears together for the holidays. That way they don't have to pay out to both developers. Maybe a tomb raider bundle also with both games like the assassin's creed bundle last year.
