I've just bought this on my 360 after seeing the comparisons with the PS3. My brother has it for the PS3 so I will compare.
Yes I agree. It did take me 12 hours to complete GoW3, but that was an intense non stop thrill ride that left my eyes bleeding. Alan wake was a great game, like I said, but like Heavy Rain I wish I would have rented it as it only took me Saturday morning, and then evening to complete.
360 games stopped selling as well when they all jumped ship and upgraded to a PS3, everybody knows that? ppphft
I have to say yes this is a good game. My only gripe is I paid full price(£40) for a game that took me one day( 9 hours) to complete. I wish I would have rented it.

Final Fantasy 1 was published in Japan 1987 and three years later(1990) in the US. Interesting fact, in later iterations it was thought the series would prove to complicated for the West and weren't even released. Final Fantasy 2 sold over a 1.8 million in Japan and was later remade for the US(the original was never released outside of Japan) and only solded a fraction.
