Better comparison than GameDaily's. On the record, even if he said Gears 2 wins, at least he gave more details about Resistance 2... though mood-wise, I hope he'd give equal treatment for gears, but by the time he was saying buts, I knew what he'd pick.
So... I get Resistance 2. Others will get either Gears 2 or both. ^-^ This is great.
I'm still waiting for it to arrive here. I got LBP and playing it for fun, but Resistance 2 is my main concern for this month.
I'm betting Sony won't even blink an eyelash.

I just noticed the the blog put Jak 4 and Uncharted 2 on the list... does that mean Naughty Dog is pulling an Insomniac? (lol... love that term).
I hope the maintenance keeps the pace since two newly released titles have very massive multi-player functions.
2008 for me was definitely a good year for Playstation. 360 doesn't matter as I don't own it, nor plan to.
You got Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, and soon, Resistance 2. Those three titles alone made the year worth it. Plus since most third parties are multi-platform, good games come around from everywhere as well.
Plus, Valkyria Chronicles, another PS3 Strategy RPG is coming, plus for Japan, White Knight Chronicles to boost the audience there.

If all the exclusive game devs of PS3 are sharing tech, then GOW3 looking better or close as KZ2 (in terms of graphic capability, not art direction) could very well be true.

I've noticed a very good trend. A lot of games are getting high marks. It makes me wonder what 2009 will hold for me as a Ps3 owner.

Got LBP... Got Assasin's Creed (Yes, I'm late) and now REsistance 2 is just around the corner, with Valkyria Chronicles.... meh. I'm poor this Holiday season.
