i would say, sony should have rushed with dev. tools to help game studios develop for PS3, and give them a hand on how to take advantage of the SPUs, as it looks like everybody is 6s and 7s when it comes to prgramming the SPUs.

Cell power is undeniable, it's just a different architecture than x86. developers don't know how to program the SPUs and the cell's parallel architecture. my only blame is Sony should help 3rd party with he cell architecture, i am not sure why they are so conservative helping 3rd party.
