It's funny how you call out haters, trolls, flamers and Sony fanboys. The first three of those would describe your post quite accurately. And why only Sony fanboys? They're all equally as bad if you ask me.
I enjoy most of the Sony exclusives and 3rd party games on PS3 as well. But even with the lack of 3rd party support, Wii was my second most played platform this gen. I grew up with Nintendo even more so than with Sony. Both their 1st party franchises are very important to me.
As long as Nintendo provides me with a steady stream of their 1st party games, I will keep buying their consoles. I have my PS3 for 3rd party games and I can deal with not all of them being on a Nintendo...
Why should they? Wii dominated this current gen. DS has sold almost as much as PS2 and 3DS is also selling like free water in Africa.
Sure, Wii U is having a rocky start but sales will go up when new games start rolling in. New Zelda, WW HD, 3D Mario, Metroid U, Smash Bros U, Monster Hunter U (Sony dropped the ball with this one.), and all the other Nintendo household names. Times are tough but there's no stopping Nintendo.
I thought that was for the recording of games.
