Your right developers have the last say...its their game and i personally don't care as long as the game is good..but a lot of kids from all races play video games. it would be nice sometimes if the hero was Hispanic or black....it would be nice for some kids to have heroes who looks like them...who they can identify with on another level.

@CBaoth i have both consoles and both demos thats just my assessment from playing both...360 is the better version just on visuals alone.
the game looks better on the 360 i wish developers were over that hump but, i see now that some just don't care...i just think the game should be $49.99 and not $60 on the ps3 lower quality lower price. We shouldnt have to pay the same amount of money if they dont even put the same amount of effort into the ps3 version. I really really think that they don't care for the ps3 or the gamers on it.

it was great! weapons feel good and the enemy AI is also great!
Wii murdered the 360! at a higher price point with less games!!! lol you think the 199 sku is competition directed at the ps3? no my good friends it was directed at the wii...the lego and kung fu panda bundles are for the casuals!!! they want in on that wii market and failed miserably lol....the ps3 sold a respectable amount at that price point and with no title on the level of gears during the holiday season.

you don't know what the fu**k your talking about.Gear did have some problems preventing it from being goty but, the game is far from horrible! great graphics and great action makes it one of the best games on the market. Yes the story IS mediocre as hell!!! but i had fun and that's the point of a video game...to have fun!
dude people lost their jobs...the game isnt bad at all...its just a over saturated franchise that most people got over long ago...the sales have nothing to do with the game its a well made game...they shouldn't be ashamed on how it came out.
