Are you referring to the video game market? Because that is flourishing, currently surpassing movies as the number 1 form of entertainment. I'd hardly say that's weak.
If you meant to say in a weak economy, than I agree.
I own one. Although I see the potential, I've yet to be satisfied and I own about 5 games for it. I'm not losing hope though because it took many months for me to truly love and enjoy my 3DS. The Vita's time will come too.
@Yi-Long
Less frustrating? You haven't gotten very far, have you?
So, a comment I wrote on another article saying "I'd hit it" is flagged as inappropriate, but this makes it on N4G. Priorities bitches, priorities.
Except she wasn't banned at all, merely asked to change.
Want some gameplay AND screen shots? Go to youtube and type in "Pokemon Black Gameplay"
I'd hit it.
Because the only good center located in NY is the Javits center and the size of that venue is hardly enough to accommodate PAX. I would know, I go to NYCC and PAX East every year. Just take the 4 hour trip to Boston, it's worth it.
Don't even.
In Scrabble, you actually need to know words, in Words With Friends, you just need to know how to take a screen cap on your cell phone.
Too much clothing on Serah, pass.
Precisely. These people complaining are the ones who don't really take this game seriously, they don't understand the core mechanics, they just play it casually. I'm like you, I will most definitely get value out of spending the extra cash. Sure, I don't approve of Capcom doing this but I know damn well I'm going to get value out of that 20 dollars spent.
Stay free whiners ;)
Edit: I WILL GLADLY SUPPORT THIS PRACTICE ALSO!
And you probably purchased 3 new maps and 2 rehashed maps for $15 dollars for some generic shooter. I'm failing to see your point.
Granted, I'm pissed that these characters are locked but I love fighting games, I participate in tournaments, and I can guarantee that this will be money well spent for me.
That really has nothing to do with what this article was talking about nor does it relate to the incident that happened at Cross Assault. This isn't about whether or not they truly play games, I couldn't care less if they are "real gamers." It's about how people seem to think this kind of behavior is acceptable based solely on the fact that its "expected to happen."
I'm sure Aris is a great guy who made a mistake BUT he should have kept...
Finally, someone who acknowledges that the actions of Aris do not reflect the mentality of the entire FGC. I can't believe some people were actually attempting to condone his actions on the show and were instead blaming Miranda claiming she "asked for it." Their main fallback argument is that she handled the entire situation poorly, but lets be real... Miranda was there for the experience, I'm sure she didn't actually expect to win the entire thing, I know I didn't...
That's not something I need to worry about. I don't lend my games to anyone.
Wow, good thing there's a way around it. I had no idea you couldn't earn trophies in pre-owned games. I can understand online passes but this is kind of lame.
That's why AE was 15 dollars and 2012 was free.
Not hating on Vita in anyway, had mine pre ordered for months and I am beyond excited. You only called 10 gamestops, I live in the tri-state area and I have 6 gamestops within driving distance of me. Hell, my two local malls each have two gamestops.
Thanks Captain Obvious!
Thank god it's snow and not water ;)
