The Install base in US for 360 compared to PS3 is HUGE (2:1 ratio +some), add also to the fact that not very many Big Hits came for the 360 in 2008, and that is why 3 million gears sold in a month. If the PS3 had the install base the 360 has, the 3.5 million would be much much greater...

The PS3 is the better console for your money, but most parents do not see that, or know about that, and therefore go for the cheaper console, since most games kids want are on both platforms....
Just to give you an economics lesson, there is no such thing as demand in Economics. It is Quantity Demanded. As the Price Falls the Quantity Demanded will rise, though there is a fine like, once you go past that line, you will actually lose that quantity demanded.

Exactly. They bash the game for being like Most Wanted, but didn't everyone love Most Wanted? I have wanted the NFS series to intertwine NFS Underground 1&2 into Most Wanted as that would be the best in the series by far. By EA realizing they needed to go back to where Most Wanted was best and improve on it, add better cars, customization, more polygons, is the best thing for them. (They also point everything not in the game... um aren't you supposed to review what is in the game?)

Also the 360 is $199 the magical number for retailers, while the PS3 is $399. With the economy as bad as it is, I can see more people buying the Arcade for $199 (gimped version). COD4 might be better, but for America's Army even to look close to it is miraculous itself. Just looking at the screenshots, it does look pretty good, but nothing mind blowing.

Well look at it this way. Sony will dominate outside of the U.S., but looking at U.S. numbers they will have lost marketshare. That is really the only place they have lost it so far.

Resistance 2 looks amazing, I'm just pissed on how the bullseye does not work the same as R1, you cannot tag then go behind cover and just shoot, that was why the game was so much fun!
Lair was actually a good game. It controls were not flawed. It felt like a dragon, not like a jet, like it is supposed to. They even released analog controls, plus it runs in Full 1080p.
