The picture of the pink "Big Daddy" pretty much confirms earlier reports of having a "Big Mommy"... So thats cool..

I didnt say it was first, but it popularized the genre a lot...
Halo was an achievement, so was Half-Life, and Bioshock...
Mario was revolutionary, so was Zelda... They encouraged the genres, and massively popularized them...
They set out the building blocks to many great games to come...
To me, the one to FPS was Doom...
Halo was awesome i agree... But what revolutionized the genre and made way to all these games is the original Doom...
Hands down, Doom is what popularized the Genre, or even created it...
I got addicted to FPSs from it, and till play it till now...
COD4, Halo 1/2 (3 didnt like that much), R 1/2, KZ 2 (when it comes out), Half-Life, BioShock, SystemShock and much more are truly brilliant... But what revolutionized FPS is Doom...
