Really... Ya there was nothing worth getting on the PS3 in 2008 at all, no good exclusives or anything like that PS3 was nonexistent in 2008.

Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game, Mass Effect is my second favorite game... Having said that, I also loved FFIV, FFVI, FF8, FF9, FF10...
I'd have to cast my vote with "Square" (soft or enix WHATEVER you want to call them.) However, Bioware is slowly gaining as my favorite developer...

That game was alright but it wasn't any better than a 7.5 out of 10 IMO.
Without Halo 1 or Halo 2 is not the best of Halo.
That list is bad... Prince of Persia and Grid over titles like Mass Effect and if youre going to go with Fallout how can you not go with Oblivion?
From what I have seen the visuals look AMAZING... I wish I could see some actual gameplay and how the leveling system and everything else works...
There is plenty of stuff coming out in 2009 to keep us busy until FF13.
If they remade FF7 the game would be the best selling ps3 game. I am convinced.

Sephiroth isn't one of my favorite characters, but to say he isn't memorable is completely ignorant, everyone remembers Sephiroth and everyone remembers him as being the complete badass that came down from the sky and killed one of the main characters, and then almost blew up the world.
I would have to say that Solid Snake is a complete bad ass, and if you want to stretch it, Raiden was badass in MGS4 (no matter how lame he was in MGS2.)
I am surprised to not see someone like Altair on there for nextgen games... The dude would tell someone he needs information from them and then stab them right in the stomach... HES AN ASSASSIN...
I have a used copy of the game, want the 2 disc set... It's my second favorite game ever made behind FF7, I guess you can say I am "Collecting" it.
Did my game stop due to glitches on the 360 or PC versions and I beat that game 4 or 5 times, so I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

I've made a female warrior before just because I thought it would be cool to have a chick beating the hell out of people with gigantic weapons... I have also made a female character because I was tired of always being a male character...
Seriously, that would help the PS3 out TREMENDOUSLY... I'm not even saying that as a FF7 fan, It was one of (I think second highest?) selling PS1 games ever, and most people are dying for a remake.
That would draw a TON of attention to the PS3 and help sales a ton.

One of the funnest games I have ever played but easily the hardest game I have ever played.
Alot of people played it and I am pretty sure Halo didn't do anything to revolutionize the FPS genre... Don'get me wrong, Halo 1 was an amazing game, but it's not like people didnt play FPS before that.
